For some experts on here--

I was wondering (besides the Keith interviews from 2004 which I've seen) if you can ever recall any of the Stones mentioning their feelings about the following groups/music:

1) Led Zeppelin
2) Aerosmith
3) Guns N' Roses
4) Queen
5) Punk Rock music and Disco

Love that site Ginda. In a nutshell, the Stones..

1)aren't big Robby Plant fans. Mick was seen at a LZ show, though. Keith loves Pagey, and appreciated his contribution on "One Hit."
2)Mick had a funny quote about Tyler, but otherwise they don't have much of an opinion on Aerosmith.
3)Axl joined them for the PPV show in '89. Slash appreciated classic Stones (Dead Flowers is his favorite guitar solo ever) and is a classy guy in my book. Don't blame the boys if they think GNR are flakes, though.
4)Only ever heard that one quote my MJ regarding Queen as one of the 'best England's got.' Given Brian May's talent, I'm sure KR has a good bit of respect for him.
5)Keith is the original "punk rocker."

Keith isn't a fan of Slash...or at least didn't want him performing on Thru and Thru.  Ronnie and Slash tell that story from time to time.

I liked it too Ginda, covers a lot in a nutshell, although the comment on Queen, MJ was talking about Thee Queen of England, not the group, to get back at Johnny Rotten.

Regarding Guns n Roses, I heard Keith say in an interview that "it's good to see people actually playing." He also said that Jimmy Page is Zeppelin to him.
