My neighbors abuse/neglect their dog...who is a wonderful being.   For the past year and a half, I have volunteered and walked and fed their dog  for free...   I have told them I would like to adopt the dog...which they leave inside the house for 12-15 hours every day, and beat her for doing her "business" inside.   The dog has run away to my house several times.   Last time, owner's husband left front door open...and dog ran to my house.    The dog was starving and was going through my garbage, and I gave it a can of Mighty Dog dog food, called the owner to say the dog was safe, walked the dog and returned it home.   The owner called me to tell to not feed the dog, who is a Geman Shephard mix....she feeds it small portion dry food only in the evening.  She has since refused  to let me see the dog, phoning me that "They're going to take DOGGY under control."   

Same owner told me that her husband wants to get rid of the dog.  Owner said they're keeping dog because their baby likes it.  But, no one is taking care of dog's basic needs.  They also beat the dog when it has accidents in the house...because it frustrates husband.

They don't walk or feed their dog, and leave it inside with no bathroom break for 12-15 hours nearly every day.  Several folks have called Humane Society...who've taken no action.

I have seen this abuse shit go down for 6 years, and have I tried to help the dog.  It appears to me that they're keeping the dog because they like abusing it.

this really get's to me FG, I'd phone the HS like already mentioned or ASPCA, I love dogs, & can't stand this abuse, it's not the dog's fault, it's because it's never been trained properly, it makes me angry that people do this.

Abuse to any animal sickens me. Do whatever you can, FG! 

Neighbors have called Humane Society on these owners at least 4 times...but HS have not taken any action.   They got the dog from a shelter after 1st owner kept the poor pooch in the garage for first year of its life. 

Since the owner found out, I gave the dog a can of Mighty Dog dogfood when the dog ran away to my house and was starving, she has refused to let me walk the dog.  They leave the poor pooch home alone nearly everyday for 12-15 hours at a time with no potty break and no food.  They feed it once a day only at night.

She has told me and my family that the dog loves me. I previously told owners that I want to adopt the dog, but they're keeping the dog and abusing it.  I want nothing to do with these people, but I do want to save the dog.

In my view, people who abuse animals are the worst...because animals are truly defenseless as they can't speak up.

FG my friend I hope this works out for the best for the poor dog and you can figure something out! I don't understand how these people refuse to let you walk him just because you fed him! Makes no sense! And why do people like these bother to get a dog if they want nothing to do with him?
