Jeff Beck at The Beacon Monday Night

We went to Jeff Beck's fantastic Les Paul tribute show at the Beacon last night, featuring Imelda May and her band. Imelda was a fantastic Mary Ford to Jeff's Les Paul. It was a great night. He is like the "invisible superstar", he rarely speaks on stage. He just wants to play. At the end when Imelda was saying "and the amazing, genius....Jeff Beck!" he put his hands over his ears like he didn't want to hear it. Priceless.

it's nice that he's mixing it up a bit, even its with some chick singing. his shows have showed some calcification and his playing or maybe his interest has seemed diminished despite his renaissance as a recording artist since 99.
