I keep getting this message from Youtube, so is this true or another scam to get my information?

You will no longer be able to sign in to YouTube without a Google Account.
If you do not want to link this YouTube account, you can sign out here.

According to this message I need to open a Google account to use Youtube now. Anyone else get this message?

So if you have to have a google account to comment or I guess post videos. I don't ever post. But I know when I tried to comment on some videos a while back I had to register a Google account.
