MICK & Georgia in LA Feb, 27, 2011 on Oscar Day. Looking good!

I heard MICK is hosting an Oscar after-party for The Kings Speech at Chateau Marmont tonight! He co-hosted a pre-party with JLo there on Feb. 7.

From Jane Fonda's Blog:

Pre-Oscar party at Chateau Marmont

Last night Richard and I went to a party co-hosted by Jennifer Lopez and Mick Jagger. Lots of friends were there, including my brother, and it was fun. I just couldn’t take pictures of everyone…Geoffrey Rush, Eddie Olmos, Bobby Carradine (was in “Coming Home” with me), Renee Zellweger, Geena Davis, and a host of others. I walked up to Mick Jagger and reminded him that the last time we saw each other was in the house outside Rome on the Appia Antica, that my then husband, French director, Roger Vadim and I lived in during the filming of “Barbarella.” Mick and Keith Richards were around because Keith’s girlfriend, Anita Pallenberg, played the Black Queen, in Barbarella.

Mick Jagger proved himself to be the world's best boyfriend at L'Wren Scott's fashion show after-party when he confessed that he acts as the fit model for her collections. Also present at Norwood to enjoy Mick strike some of his legendary dance moves to Hollaback Girl were Jimmy Fallon, Ellen Barkin, Baz Luhrmann and Jared Leto.

Check out this picture of Mick at L'Wren's fashion show this year.  Apparently, he filmed the whole show himself for her. Isn't that sweet?

KEITH AND MICK LOVERS

LONDON -  In his autobiography, “Life”, Keith Richards reveals that he and Mick Jagger have been lovers for decades.

Keith Richards has led the ultimate rock n’ roll life:  filled with sex and drugs and music.  Keith Richards reveals a lot of secrets in his candid, no-holds-barred account of his life.

But the biggest revelation was that he and Mick Jagger have been lovers every since The Rolling Stones formed back in April 1962.

In a leak from Richards book, WWN has learned Richards said that he’s known Mick since we was 4 years old.  Richards is rumored to say in his book.  “Mick always seemed like a girl to me.  And then one night after I drank enough to drown an elephant, I went over to Mick and kissed him.  One thing led to another and we shagged right there on the bathroom floor.  We’ve been shagging ever since.”   Keith says he and Mick had sex in a hotel room soon after his picture was taken of them in 1966:

And they shagged about five minutes after this photo of them jamming.  “Mick’s voice was always a turn-on for me.”

According to publisher, Geoff Wallingord, Richards says in his book that Mick and he have had many girlfriends, wives,  “we’ve banged women from Siberia to Syndey”  but he and Mick have always come back to each others arms.  “We still like to roll around.  He knows how to get me off.  Always has.”

In “life”, Richards reveals that even though they have been lovers, their relationship has been fraught with conflict.  Richards calls his songwriting partner, “Your Majesty” or “Brenda”.

Richards, 67, also reveals that Mick has a “tiny todger”, a detail apparently confirmed by Jagger’s one-time girlfriend Marianne Faithfull, who was involved in a series of complicated love trysts involving the Stones.  There have been many women that have also confirmed this fact about Mick.  Several have said that he has “the smallest penis in the world.”

That doesn’t bother Richards.  “Ah, hell, yeah… it’s tiny, but he knows what to do with it.  He does that chicken-strut-shit even in bed.”

Keith writes in “Life” that he and Mick always used say to each other “start me up” when they wanted to have sex.  That’s why they wrote this song:

Mick Jagger and Dave Stewart working on album
by WQKS on March 8, 2011

The Stones' frontman and Eurythmics songwriter are collaborating on an album in Los Angeles.
Despite recent reports that the Rolling Stones will not be touring anytime in the near future, Mick Jagger is certainly not taking a backseat from music.

The Stones’ frontman has been revealed to be working on an album with Eurythmics musician Dave Stewart.

Speaking to RTP, Mick’s brother Chris Jagger said, “He’s doing a record at the moment in LA with Dave Stewart. He called me last night to tell me what he was doing.”

The pair worked together once before on the song “Old Habits Die Hard” which was used in the soundtrack to the Jude Law remake of Alfie.

No release date is currently known for the album, but it would be expected towards the end of the year at the earliest.

Mick Jagger Working on Solo Record:

by Jillian Mapes, N.Y.  |   March 02, 2011 2:30 EST
from Billboard.com
Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger is reportedly hard at work on a record with producer Dave Stewart in Los Angeles -- or so says Jagger's baby brother, Chris.

In an interview airing yesterday (Mar. 1) with a Portuguese TV station, during which Chris discussed his own music career, the lesser-known of the Jagger brothers mentioned that Mick does his best to keep in touch. "He's doing a record at the moment in Los Angeles with Dave Stewart," Chris Jagger mentioned. "He called me last night telling me what he was doing." Watch Chris' interview below.

The album would be Jagger's first solo effort since 2001's "Goddess in the Doorway," but it would not be the first time the rocker frontman has collaborated with Dave Stewart. The producer, who first made his name as one half of the Eurythmics, co-wrote several songs on Jagger's 1987 solo album, "Primitive Cool." The two collaborated again in 2004 for three original songs that appeared on the soundtrack of the "Alfie" remake.

The news coincides with tweets last week from Roots drummer Questlove, who reported he was in a New York studio with Jagger, but did not specify on what they were working.

Stewart has his own album, titled "The Blackbird Diaries," coming this spring, and worked as a producer with both Stevie Nicks and Joss Stone on their upcoming albums. Jagger's last high-profile outing was at the 2011 Grammy Awards last month, where he performed a tribute to Solomon Burke.

Mick Jagger, Other New York 'Bad Boys' Make Design Show Appearance
March 17, 2011
Celebrities and city landscapes are major themes in this year's New York Design Festival, which begins Thursday.

By Della Hasselle

DNAinfo Reporter/Producer

UPPER EAST SIDE — Iggy Pop, Mick Jagger, Andy Warhol and other notorious New York "Bad Boys" will make an appearance on the Upper East Side for the New York Design Festival Thursday.

The celebrities will be featured as part of photographer Marcia Resnik's exhibit Bad Boys: Punks, Poets and Provocateurs for the Association of International Photography Art Dealers show, an offshoot of the annual festival held at the Park Avenue Armory.

As suggested by the title, the exhibit at Deborah Bell Photographs flaunts images of New York icons during reckless escapades in the 1970s and 80s. One image shows a sweaty John Beluschi fidgeting during a 5 a.m. shoot after partying at an after-hours club; in another, Studio 54 owner Steve Rubell leans against lawyer Roy Cohn at the Mudd Club in 1980.

Other figures include the famous drag queen Divine, Johnny Thunders, The Kipper Kids, and William Burroughs.

As part of the showcase, Resnik provides literary, as well as photographic, documentation, in the forms of personal essay-captions.

"Photographed here in 1978, German born Klaus Nomi, originally Klaus Sperber, was a pastry chef who was about to re-invent himself as a new wave opera singer," one caption reads below the photograph of Nomi.

"With his angular features exaggerated by theatrical make-up, his outer- space-like attire and his distinctly coiffed hair, complete with receding hairline, he awed audiences," she continued in the caption. "He employed his stellar countertenor voice in explosive performances, using synthesizers to create unique renditions of both arias and pop songs. He died of AIDS in 1983."

The vintage silver gelatin print portraits ultimately aim to show the chaos of New York's nightlife, essayist Victor Bockris said.

"'Bad Boys' probes the ways power and maleness manifested themselves in New York when it was the vibrant cultural capital of the world yet at the same time torn apart by poverty, chaos, hard-drug dealing and extreme violence against women," Bockris wrote.

The photographs will be among hundreds that hail from New York-based photographers at the show this year. Other works from the Keith de Lellis Gallery also feature New York as a major subject through landscape photography.

Aerial views of the Empire State Building and a 1930s Navy Blimp are some images that appear in the gallery. Other works will be featured by New York-based galleries Bonni Benrubi Gallery, Inc., June Bateman Fine Art, and several others.

Throughout the week, the New York Design Festival will also feature exhibits from the New York chapter of the Architectural Digest Home Design Show and the Artist Project New York, among others.

One reason that New York themes are such frequent subjects in design and artwork is that creative people naturally flock to the city for its unique and inviting atmosphere, curator Deborah Bell said.

"It's always changing and so many creative people tend to come here," she said. "You can be a little bit crazy or just be yourself, and find like-minded people."
