When did Mick get the rep of being a dictator? (Read 568 times)

Feb 18^th, 2011 at 5:48pm I got the feeling from some/some things I've read that Mick is (or was in the 70s/80s) kind of a dictator to the Stones...when and why did he get this reputation? For those who are really up on the Stones history and whatnot, is the reputation deserved?

Seriously, MICK is no dictator! He is a decision maker because he takes the business of the Stones seriously, is self motivated, intelligent and tries to maximize on band's the money making potential. MICK has become caretaker of the Stones business decisions and details due to KEEF's slacking off on his responsibilities mainly due to drugs and laziness. MICK picked up the slack, stayed on top of things, kept the machine rolling, the roles developed years ago and have stayed this way. Charlie never really wanted the responsibility, Ronnie has never been considered equal, Bill quit, and MICK is the most competent of them all.
