A closeness in any relationship is defined by experiences and bonds formed over the years. Two people don't have to spend every waking moment together in order to have a close relationship. The experiences, the laughter, the tears, the blood spilled and the love two people have for another define how close a bond is between them.

For Mick and Keith, the two have had over half a century together and I'm sure the bond is really close. They are individuals, though, and have their own lives to lead. Keith may take personal jabs at Mick, but I'm sure if someone outside the Stones took a shot, he may stand up to Mick's defense. Keith has always been one to speak his peace, while Mick tends to be more careful with what he says. No matter what either says in the press or to each other, no word can break a close bond. Words may strain a relationship, but they can never break one forever.

> rehearsing a tour, and traveling around the world in these year and a half long tours with someone whom you really don't care for would be extremely difficult ...especially time and time again.

Joey and Johnny Ramone hated each other and spoke very little between 1981 and 1996 (when the last show was perforned) yet still cranked out albums every 12-18 months, some damn good ones too and also did upwards of a hundred shows a year.

But nobody said it wasn't difficult either.
