at the risk of damaging my stellar reputation with a thread that will be on page 2 by noon, i figured i would post this question concerning pictures.

my wife and i are celebrating our ten year anniversary on thursday. ten years, three kids and a total of about 15-hours-sleep-in-all-that-time later, she has amassed a collection of about 456,213,765,345 pictures. they need to be reorganized. currently, she uses the olympus master program that came with our camera. unfortunately, that program sucks worse than being locked in a closet with a joey tribute band.

(slight aside: what is it with women and pictures?? drives me up the $#@!in wall!)

back on topic: does anyone know of any excellent software for storing digital pictures on your computer? what have y'all used that you've liked?

IMO, Adobe Lightroom (3.0) is the best for archiving and editing. Archiving is great (if you have alot of photos) and editing is really great, especially in combination with Adobe Photoshop.
However, it does need some study!

Succes
