Great video, Keith probably knows the song since it's a blues, didn't U2 do this with B.B. King?

Yep. Although it's a U2 original and had only been out a few days, so he wouldnt have known the song previously.

Remember seeing this live on TV, and taping it.

Channel 4 broadcasted a 'Smile Jamaica' benefit gig from the Dominion Theatre, London (16/10/88). This was a charity gig for the victims of a hurricane which had devastated the island a few weeks earlier.

U2 played four songs off their just released album, 'Rattle and Hum' - 'Angel of Harlem' and (I think) 'Desire' (which was the current single)

Keith then came out and joined them for 'When Love Comes To Town', before adding backing vocals on 'Love Rescue Me', which also featured Ziggy Marley.

The version of 'Love Rescue Me' was released as a bonus track on the 12' and CD version of the 'Angel of Harlem' single a few weeks later.

I would guess that Keith would have been in London at the time doing some press for 'Talk is Cheap', which had just been released.

That was it, Keessie. Thanks. Knew all four songs were from 'R & H' but wasnt 100% sure on 'Desire'.

Music, to me, is the joy, right? I love my kids most of the time, and I love my wife most of the time. Music I love all the time. It's the only constant thing in my life. It's the one thing you can count on. :Keith Richards 1993
