There is no ranking within this subset. It is just simply ...the top five. VH1 listed these five in alphabetical order.

However 6-100 ARE ranked accordingly.

Whew ... we can all rest at ease now. I was pretty darn upset until I researched it a bit.

i was surprised that Elvis wasn't anywhere in the top five... and I hate Elvis' music! I thought he should have been number two. And I'm also a huge Michael Jackson fan but I think it's kind of disgusting that he would have been maybe in the top five if he weren't dead. Why did he have to die to get this sort of recognition?? Oh well. We all know that the Stones will always be better than Zeppelin!!
