How much more can they squeeze out of Hendrix that hasn't already been released? his half Sister is still living of his legend.

Sorry. The Hendrix stuff like some many Now Gone Artist intrigues me. I just bought a bunch of Hank Williams SR Commercial Broadcast stuff, I'm a fan, so it thrilled me, but others look at me like I some kind of Hank Williams SR NUT. Of which I am. How many times has Hendrix's catalog been reissued? It seems like a hundred times now. It's getting pointless now to reissue these albums when the last issues were declared "definitive" or whatever. Even if a reissue isn't declared a "definitive" version, why pull the albums off the market and reissue more of them? What else can you do to remaster and repackage the content? The intent of this move just reeks of money grab to me. but how much more can someone get when almost everyone who wants the albums already has them?

i liked valleys of neptune, even though i had most of it in bootlegs etc, but i thought it was great all the same, tehy should continue in that vein

i think valleys of neptune was actually a surprise chart hit, from recollection at least, think it broke the top 20 or something, pretty good for scraps Hendrix most likely wouldve hated to have the public hear

i read at the time of its release, Janie saying that the company had another 10 years worth of stuff to put out, so maybe we have another few rotations of reissue to go threw before they're finished
