Thanks everyone, yes it's been 12 fucking years yb
Now I'm realizing it has been a lot of work, moderating a board with people from everywhere, different ages, cultures, academic and intellectual levels, religions, sex preferences, the sane and the insane, the good and the bad… changing the header all days, posting set lists at the very moment, answering questions, having patience with some regulars, allowing non-stones and/or non-sense posts, coexisting with psychos and nutties .
Rocks Off regulars posting high, drunk, both and sober.
So many years here, unfortunately with some who left because of the way we moderate and worse some left because they passed away, starting with Temple who passed away just a few months after we started, three and a half to be precise.
Thanks to this place we have been in contact with people very close to the Stones, the stones management and some other royal bastards.
12 years sharing the passion, spreading the news, researching the past and present of the Rolling Stones and former members, giving information about everything stones-related and having lots of fun.
Rocks Off have been mentioned in several radio stations across the world, appeared in important magazines and newspapers and linked by the best websites on the net.
Still alive and well being isolated by the nerds from Google since three years ago without any reason, this is in one way good as the newbies come here from direct references and not by web-searches.
Probably we’re not the best, we’re not the one with more people but of one thing I’m sure, we have a very good reputation in the Rolling Stones cyber-communities
I (we) want to thank you all because without you this would not be possible and because your words (and images) like the above fill the gas tanks of our engines.
