Real wild child use to post great pictures in the superblow thread and it's a good friend of many of us. We also have another regular from Monterrey, Kaliman, but he only post in our message board in Spanish. The Rolling Stones played there in 2006

The roaring waves and thundering rain have given way to devastation in one of Mexico’s wealthiest cities, as residents in Monterrey continue to recover from Hurricane Alex.
Many residents said they have been without water since Thursday.
The local government estimates the total number of people without drinking water has reached almost 130,000 people.
Meanwhile, city workers have been making two to three rounds each day, carrying more than 5,000 gallons of water for residents in two of the most affected suburbs in Monterrey: San Pedro Garza-Garcia and Santa Catarina.
In the latter, named after the powerful and destructive river that crosses it, many people have been forced out of their homes and into city shelters.
"Given the readiness of the shelters, they’ve been open and taking families in since Tuesday and Wednesday," said Rosa Isela Cantu, President of the Desarrollo Integral de Familia (DIF) in Santta Catarina.
