I read Ray Davies' autobiography, a surprisingly self-pitying work. When, after pages of complaining, I got to the part where Ray was up all night in a hotel room, worrying whether he was gay - I threw the book across the room and said out loud, "Jesus Christ! Does Mick Jagger stay up and worry about this shit?"

There's an answer to many issues in the above posts in that.

Jagger, I seriously never understood why people made that assumption. The androgyny, that's an ego thing for Mick....and for all the salacious antecdotes about Jagger and Bowie ( courtesy of Angie) or Mick Taylor (courtesy of Anita), there has never been any indication that he's gay.
