Well, gang your intrepid Riffy has tied the knot again. This time though, I must say, I got it right. I am officially married to the one woman that was created for me by God! (Likewise, I'm sure.)

My wife's name is Holly, and she is the greatest woman on the planet! She has to be,- afterall, she took on my two teenage daughters, and yours truly. No easy task, I'm sure.

We made it official on June 26th, and I would had let you all in on the secret earlier had I not been in beautiful Jah-maica for the last 9 days. Here's a hint for all of you who may plan on visiting Jamaica in the near, or not so near, future. If you want real roots rock reggae do NOT stay in a resort that is frequented by primarily white people of American, Canadian, European, or British descent. We stayed at Sandals Whitehouse in the parish of Westmorland. The place was spot on beautiful! Rum (and any other libation-ie; Red Stripe) served at many poolside, and beach side, bars with little wait, and a warm Jamaican smile, and a welcoming-"Ya, Mon! No Worries" attitude. The Jamaican people rank right up there with the Irish in their welcoming attitude (from an American perspective, of course).

Jamaicans seem to genuinely get a kick out of watching white people act so incredibly white. Holly, and I, got a real belly laugh out of watching folks from Nebraska trying with all their might to act Jamaican. Though, I must say, to the local Jamaicans, all white folk are equally white. Try as I may, I could not make the locals see the difference between a white man born on Peachtree Street in downtown Atlanta, Ga. from a "white boy" from Rochester, New York. There is a huge difference, from this "white boy's" perspective, but they could not see it. Not that I'm complaining, mind you. Jamaicans are great people. They just live on "island time", and can't be bothered to notice the minor differences between us white folk.

However, the double edged sword of staying at a resort that caters to mostly "white people" of American, British, and European descent is that the music and locality of Jamaica is decidedly "toned down" to suit the morons from places like Rochester, NY, London, Eng., and all other places that white people mostly live.

If you want the real Jamaica, Sandals is not the place to stay. If you want the all-inclusive all-you-can-drink rum drinks, and food, it's brilliant! We opted for the free booze and food. Happily, I might add. When we wanted real roots-rock-reggae we just went back to the suite and cranked up the trusty I-pod. We got some very good ganja from the local staff that way. Nothing says "cool white boy" quite like some old school Yellow man, Sly and Robbie, and Eek-a-Mouse.

So I'm a happy man today. I have a woman that loves me and my two daughters, and manages to put up with my rather opinionated world view. I could not be happier!

That said, Obama sucks. Just like I always knew he would. The United States is a poorer nation for having voted this clueless fuck into office. Just like I knew we would be, and the beat goes on.

It's not like I'm trying to rub it into your faces here, but c'mon now, face the facts. He sucks with razor sharp teeth! You don't have to admit to me, but for fuck's sake, at least admit to yourself!

In closing-I love my wife, she loves me and my kids, and we love our country, and Jamaica too! You don't have to love me, my kids, or Jamaica (though I'm sure you would), but love your country, and vote conservative! These liberals are fucking us all equally, and not in a good way.


And yes, conservatives like ganja, too!

So dont forget the number one rule of staying married: once the sex goes, the marriage follows. Keep it up Riffy and you'll stay married for a long long time!  OK thats my 2 cents worth of advice.
