The fact that you state that Holland was among the best says little about the orange boys and lots about the rest of the teams we've seen til now. Second half was okay-ish, but I've seen better Dutch matches. I agree with Tumbling Dijs though: it can only get better. At the Euro-championships two years ago Holland was the group stage sensation: they wiped Italy and France off of the pitch, only to be kicked out by Russia a week later. Russia was aided by a great Dutch (coach who knew everyone in that team) and the Orange boys themselves, who were really overestimating themselves at that point in the tournament. That's the risk of peaking early..

Spain will be back. This happens sometimes, the squad is 4 times better than the Swiss. So now they have to win the other two games. And they will. Mexico needs a win against France tomorrow. France has had better squads, and Mexico looks pretty solid. So there's always a chance. A draw tomorrow and a win against Uruguay is enough..

2 bad calls? I didn't see them. You can argue about the first goal being offside or not. Generally the Fifa rule is that the linesman should judge in favor of the striker in case of doubt. This was a case of doubt. The penalty kick was pretty obvious.

Or perhaps you were refering to the poor sub choices the French coach made? Anyway: France is on it's way out..Uruguay and Mexico can make a deal for round 2. A draw will do. The question is: will Mexico accept it? Ending in second place will mean they face Argentina in the second round, whereas Uruguay as group winner (more goals) will face either South Korea of Greece. Big difference.

Great comeback by the Yanks. Looked to be a terrific game. And whats more, they were robbed.

A win v Algeria will be enough to put them through.

In fact, from what I can see if the last 3 games in the group are drawn, the USA could conceivably KO England even by just drawing with Algeria - if theyve scored more goals than England over the 3 games.
