Reply #1 - May 27^th, 2010 at 12:52pm Reminds me of the 70's when Mark Farner cut of his very long hair (suppose to be longest hair in Rock) although I think Neal Smith & Dennis Dunaway of the original Alice Cooper group had the longest, I cut my of in '74, it was almost waist length, I found I got stereo-typed into a hippie image, I wanted to change.

very simply, Bucky.....

It is hard to keep long hair looking good when you get up there in age without going to the hairdresser every 3-4 weeks to cover the white and "even out" the fade out of the last few inches.. Not to forget the horrible split ends and broken hair from wearing a braid for soooo many years. He probably just wanted to start all over with some "healthy" hair.

I'm glad I still have mine, even though I destroy it with bleach... completely fried... even when I don't color it, it still seems blown out!
