It is "growing" on me however...

I hear it too Bill, but I like it.
Must be difficult for Jagger to get an honest opinion from those that listened to the playback in the studio.
What's up with all the treble in his voice? Is he trying to sound young?

What a moody song. It's amazing to me that Jagger still has it in him.

But "River" resolves to the G. Very similar, too, to what Nicky plays on "Loving Cup." Hey: if a guy can't plagiarize himself, who can he plagiarize?!

The bit I'm thinking of from "Loving Cup" is right before the verse kicks in: "I'm the man on the mountain..." Check it out!
