Anyone knows if the L.King Show with MJ was shown this morning on CNN International in Europe or not?

BBC Radio 2 interview special on now

http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00slw1v

Its pretty good so far. Concentrating primarily on the music rather than the extracurricular crap that most journalists tend to dwell on.

Very good interview. And a nice bit of news at the end. On Bank Holiday Monday (31st May) Mick will be interviewed again for a BBC Radio 2 special "Jagger's Jukebox" where (for the first time) he plays some of his favourite music from the late 60's, etc.

Thanks Gazza for that link, I really enjoyed that Interview, it was interesting to hear some of the original (Robert Johnson/ Slim Harpo) songs & then The well 'known versions of the Stones, & the country influence part, the part where Bill (Wyman) would drive a hour to get to Nellcote at 10 in the morning, & The Stones were up all night recording & they go to bed at 9 in the morning, & that would drive Bill crazy, great interview, far more about the music as opposed to all the usual reporter questions about drugs, there is a part about that too, but a great detail about the music more.

Broadcast info on the 'Jagger's Jukebox' 2-hour BBC radio special, which will be aired next Monday (31/5/10) at 2 pm on BBC Radio 2

http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00sknv5

The Rolling Stones' frontman hand-picks a selection of artists and music that influenced the band's ground-breaking sound, in particular their classic album Exile On Main St. In conversation with Paul Sexton, Mick talks through a wide-ranging playlist that reflects his own, and the band's, love of classic R&B, gospel, country and reggae.

The fascinating mix of material conjures up the musical environment of the late 60s and turn of the 70s, in which the Stones, and so many of their peers, were scaling new and ever more eclectic creative heights. In a show that includes both vintage hits and lesser-known gems, we'll find out which of the band's fellow rock acts from that era have Jagger's personal seal of approval. We'll also hear some brilliant soul records that have remained his all-time favourites; plus singer-songwriters; giants of country and Americana; and much more besides.

Mick Jagger’s GMG special

...

Mick Jagger is to feature in an exclusive documentary across GMG Radio’s networks this weekend.

Presented by Terry Underhill and being broadcast on the Real, Smooth and Rock Radio networks, the show will feature Mick talking about performing live, future plans for the Stones and social networking.

The Rolling Stones have grossed over half a billion dollars performing live, speaking to GMG Radio about touring again, Mick said: “I’m sure we will. It would be stupid to say there won’t be another Stones tour because I love doing them and I always imagine there would be another Stones tour. When that’s going to be I don’t really know at this point.”

The Mick Jagger documentary can be heard across the Real Radio, Smooth Radio and Rock Radio Network this Bank Holiday weekend at various times:

Real Radio:
Sunday, 19:00 – 20:00

Smooth Radio:
Sunday, 13:00 – 14:00

Rock Radio:
Monday, 17:00 – 18:00
