Did anybody catch this 1 hour film "When You're Strange" a History Of The Doors, last night on PBS narrated by Johnny Depp, damn I missed it, I heard it was really good, it covers from '65 to '71 when Jim died, it will probably be on again or a torrent on a download.

i watched it this morning. being a pretty "big" doors fan, i guess, alot of the information was kind of redundant but it had great footage in excellent quality. it's definitely the least biased documentary (and it definitely did a better job than oliver stone's crap tried to do). plus it had a few rolling stones mentions! apparently jim's girlfriend sat in the front row of the doors' hollywood bowl concert in mick's lap... hah.

I recall Lou Reed "saying" (in a chat room) that Morrison was an asshole. I know he's right. I saw the movie.

Also, I read that Reed punched David Bowie. Apparently they were talking about gay sex, when suddenly Lou asked Bowie to help him about something musical. Bowie said that he would help, only if Lou took a shower. That's when the fight began.
