I was buying my dad a new pair of tennis shoes (in Texas, we call any pair of "sneakers" tennis shoes for some reason) and my mom was there. I picked some cool black Jordans.....my mom nixed them because she said they looked like "old man shoes". She said it in Spanish so it sounded funnier and more derisive. My first thought was Mick and his big ole black shoes.

The "Big Uglies" are actually what I was thinking of when I saw Mick's shoes in that pic. It's like he has a brand new pair and he's proud to wear them, like when you were a kid with a new pair of tennis shoes.

Mick's head has always been...well...large. Andy Warhol commented on it decades ago. I think his shoes would look less Herman Munsterish if they were a solid color. It looks like he's wearing big skunks on his feet.

I'm so fvcking jealous. How pathetic is that admission? If I ever had a chance with MICK, he would probably laugh and I would be humiliated! Snowball's chance in hell!!! My MICK fantasy never dies!!! Every time I see him with L'Wren, I just wish it was me. It's almost embarassing, but on a Stones message board I guess it's not surprising. shameful.
