Amazing the watch these hardened old fisherman nearly reduced to tears because their lively hood is at danger. The ironic part is that now BP is hiring some of them to take engineers and scientists out to the spill sight and that's their only source of income these days.

None of the news outlets have mentioned the human birth defects that will certainly accelerate in the coming years for the locals.
There are many caustic gasses spewing out of this spill that aren't getting coverage.

Those poor animals living in the midst, burning in agony from the toxins in the water.
Extinction is happening. Species that may have provided cures to many human diseases will perish.
And the big fish are eating the smaller toxic creatures. And we eat those big fish, at least we used to.
I wonder if there will be a public advisory announcement, or if the economic concerns will trump it.

Maybe when President Obama takes his foot off of the neck of BP and stops sounding un-American, things will start to look up?
