Maybe if people didn't talk too much, especially all those wonderful politicians, the world would be a better place.

Seismic photometry indicated a moderate weakness in some limestone deposits about 300 meters below the wellhead surface. The present concern is that the pressure should be at least 7000 psi, if it stays below that level there is a very real possibility that methane could be forcing the oil laterally into some fractured Carboniferous shale that is at about 200 meters below and about 10 kilometers east. If that were to happen it would not be a good thing!

DALLAS, TX – Secretary of Homeland Security, Janet Napolitano, announced the White House’s plan to deport 15 million Republicans to Mexico.
Many in Washington were stunned by President Obama’s decision, the first time in U.S. history that a sitting President has moved to deport legal U.S. Citizens. Senior Adviser David Axelrod spoke to Keith Olbermann, who thought the idea was “genius, you should have done this a year ago.”  Axelrod explained the decision, “It is difficult for the President to get his agenda through with all these Republicans standing in his way. When we won the election we thought they would just shut up and let us clean up the mess. We’re left with no choice but to deport these Republicans, so that we can run the country the way we want.”

Napolitano said that mass deportations will start immediately and would not be limited to Arizona Republicans – though they would be the first rounded up.  Governor Jan Brewer was picked up last night and driven across the border in an armored car.  She was taken to Rosarito on the West Coast of Mexico – where she will be set up with a taco stand.  Homeland Security has streamlined the system by seizing the records of Republican Party offices throughout the country. They will begin going door to door, randomly picking those Republican individuals (and families) that “have to go.”

Glenn Beck was taken this morning to an adobe hut in Campeche where he will continue broadcasting his show – to himself.

Once they hit the 15 million mark, the Obama Administration plans to grant citizenship to the 15 million illegal immigrants in this country.  Axelrod said, “these new citizens will be registered Democrats and that will make it a lot easier for us to get our agenda passed.”

When asked about the deportations James Carville told CNN that if they came for his wife, Republican Mary Matalin, ICE was going to have some trouble. “I’ll open some cajun whoopass on those bastards.” He was also upset that he’d be out of a job.  “If there’s only one party in the country, who’s gonna need political consultants?”

As of 2004 there were 55 million registered Republicans in the country.  After the deportations, there still will 40 million left.  “This is just the first phase of Operation So-Long-Suckers.  If it goes as smoothly as we predict, we can deport another 15 million by the end of the year,” President Obama told Katie Couric, who wept with joy. “There is no other President in the history of our great nation that would the courage and strength to take the necessary steps to bring us all together.  You are a God, Mr. President,” Couric told Obama.  “I know,” President Obama replied.

As you would expect, most Republicans were outraged at the deportations, but Axelrod reminded them that “you smashed the car into the tree and we’ve been trying to get the car back on the road, and you want us to give you the keys back to the car, so you can smash another tree. Well, you’re not getting the keys back, you’re being sent to your room.  Mexico.”

Washington insiders were not surprised that several Republicans supported the deportations:  Senator  Scott Brown of Massachusetts and Senators Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins of Maine.  But even though they spoke in favor of the plan, President Obama is still having them deported.  “They’re still Republicans.  One and elephant, always an elephant.”

So,if you are a Republican, how do you protect yourself against being deported?

Most importantly, vote in November for the candidate you truly feel will do the best job for ALL the people, regardless of party lines, etc.

Study the individual candidates, visit their websites, pay attention to their interviews and the debates.
You may actually find a candidate who most closely resembles your personal beliefs, who you may not have thought of considering before.

For that matter, we should all be doing this for each and every election, regardless of how much is at stake.  piss off

Ahh, very good SCL!!!! You see when I was telling the whole wide world that Barack Obama was an incompetent ideological fool, and that he was totally unacceptable as president because of these, and a myriad of other reasons, I was called every name in the book. Bush Geek really stands out. Which is particularly funny because I was plenty critical of Bush when it was warranted. However, I made it a point to say loud and clear that I would be back when I was proven right, and that I would rub it into the faces of all the morons that voted for this piece of shit.

That time is now. I was 100% right regarding this fucking disaster of a president. All those who voted for him were complete fools who decided that they would assuage their collective liberal white guilt and vote for the cool smooth talking black guy. That is racist as hell, but liberals are too damned stupid and shallow to understand that form of racism, so whatever..... None of you that voted for this clown did any damned reading or studying of him, his past, or of his beliefs. You just hated Bush so much that figured let's give Barry a try. Well gee thanks! You helped fuck our country. So, you'll pardon me SCL, if I could give two flying fucks what you think about my posts! It's your idiotic vote that really needs to be explained! Please tell me that you did not vote for Obummer?!

Obama To Louisiana: Drop Dead
by Jeff Crouere (excerpt)

BAYOU BUZZ

The administration is not content to stop all deep water drilling in the Gulf. For all practical purposes, all new drilling in the Gulf has been brought to a standstill. Industry officials report that the permitting process for all drilling has been made so cumbersome that there is no new oil and gas activity in the Gulf. Reports are that major oil and gas employers in Louisiana are getting ready to cut massive numbers of jobs in the days ahead unless this moratorium is lifted and the permitting process is changed. Does the President care that his decisions are causing major economic harm to Louisiana?

It seems the goal of the administration is to inflict economic harm on the red state of Louisiana. Yesterday, it was announced that a major shipyard, Avondale, located right outside of New Orleans will be closing in 2013, which will result in the loss of 5,000 direct jobs and 7,000 indirect jobs. These are high paying positions that will not be replaced anytime soon. Next to Tulane University, this shipyard is the largest private sector employer in the New Orleans, so the blow to the local economy is major. The defense contractor Northrop Grumman which manages the shipyard announced that they will be closing the shipyard and moving the jobs to another site. This was caused by an overall decline in the administration’s ship building budget. Coupled with the drilling moratorium and the cancellation of NASA’s Constellation program and the loss of 2,000 aerospace jobs at the Michoud facility in New Orleans East, the policies of the Obama administration are costing the State of Louisiana approximately 60,000 top quality jobs. When Lafourche Parish President Charlotte Randolph complained to the President that his actions are costing Louisiana thousands of good jobs, he recommended that the newly displaced workers apply for unemployment benefits. The revealing response was an insight into the mind of Obama. Obviously, in his view, seeking government assistance is a viable answer, not a last resort. Yet, his response is an insult to the hard working people of Louisiana, who want to provide for their families, not become dependent on government.

Sadly, Obama’s polices are negatively impacting the state, which delivered 59 percent of its vote to John McCain in 2008, In that election, Louisiana voters were smart enough to understand that the Obama agenda was misguided and would be detrimental to our state and national economy. Everyday the wisdom of Louisiana voters to reject Obama is becoming more apparent. It is a real tragedy that the voters in the blue states did not possess the foresight of the voters in Louisiana.

Everyday the wisdom of Louisiana voters to reject Obama is becoming more apparent. It is a real tragedy that the voters in the blue states did not possess the foresight of the voters in Louisiana.

  Republicans suck because they lie.
I want to get one thing straight; not all Republicans lie. Some of them are just incredibly wrong. Not all Republican’ts are conservatives and not all conservatives are part of the new neo-conservative movement. It is these people, these neo-cons that are the problem. It is this group of “patriots” that is destroying our economy and creating an atmosphere of fear, hate and bigotry in our country. And, by and large, the leaders of this movement create this atmosphere by lying to their audience. Since these lies often appeal to the conservatives’ deepest fears and basest emotions, they almost always go unchallenged or investigated by the right-wing voters.
The neo-cons can be broken down into types: the voters and the leadership. I’ll start with the average citizens who vote along the neo-conservative ideological lines.

1. The Religious Right. This is the group of conservative voters who vote primarily on social/moral issues such as abortion and same-sex marriage. They don’t let little things like the national economy get in the way of

Jerry Falwellushering in the Nation of God. They don’t pay too much attention to history however. In spite of what conservative candidates say, they seldom, if ever, make any change in these issues if elected. Despite having control of the three branches of government for the majority of the Reagan/Bush I/Bush II administration, Republicans have not overturned Roe v. Wade, have lost ground in same-sex marriage and gay and lesbian rights and were responsible for The Brady Bill, which is the largest gun control legislation in US history.

2. The Self-Interested. These are the voters who care nothing for the national economy, the plight of their fellow Americans or anything other than their own personal wealth. They vote Republican because Republicans favor business, lower taxes for the wealthy and disfavor social programs. Despite all historic evidence to the contrary, they may pretend, or even believe, that supply-side economics works for the nation as a whole, but even if they don’t believe it, they know what is good for them; screw everyone else.
3. The Frightened. These people are afraid of everything: big government taking their money, minorities, homosexuality, foreigners, and change – especially change. They vote for the man who tells them everything will be alright as long as those evil progressives don’t get into power. The more powerful the candidate seems, the safer they feel. A candidate who says with great vigor they are going to “hunt down” all the terrorists, is much more likely to get this vote than a candidate who expresses any interest in diplomacy, even when brute force is demonstrably making the situation worse.
Of course, many conservative voters don’t fit neatly into only one of these categories, but share attributes of any combination of the three.
Now the politicians and the pundits can easily be sorted into the same three categories, and sometimes are. However, the overwhelming majority belong to the Self-Interested. Why? It’s all about the bottom line, and not yours.

It is obvious to anyone who looks at the relationship between the Bush family and oil, with gold, and with big money in general, where their personal interests lie. Cheney and Halliburton, anyone associated with Jack Abramoff, Enron, Carl Brizi and Tim Durham, the list goes on and on. And on and on. Are there any democrats with ties to big business? You bet there are. The difference is that democrats, as a body, don’t seek to exploit their elected positions by introducing and voting for legislation to enhance their personal finances and power.
Cons romance the voters in the religious right, and then do next to nothing to advance that agenda. They appeal to the fears of the frightened, even going so far as to manufacture fear in order to do so. They court the angry disenfranchised middle class white voters with tales of welfare fraud and reverse racism. They lie to those that are self-interested, but not completely without a sense of patriotism or concern for their fellow citizens – they help them to believe that lowering taxes for the rich, deregulating business and cutting social programs is good for our economy.
Would Rush Limbaugh, a multi-millionaire, have any reason to have voters believe that the rich should have a lower tax burden? Would Dick Cheney, who is a major stockholder in many corporations and sits on the board for several, have any reason whatsoever to have the voting public believe that business should be free of regulations, thereby increasing profit shares?
Consider the source, and then investigate the evidence, check the historic precedence and then ask yourself who stands to gain?
Read this book to find example after example of Republicans lying to you:
“State of War: The Secret History of the CIA and the Bush Administration” by James Risen
James Risen, a New York Times writer exposes some of the most serious and concerning facts about what Bush knew before and after the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Were we committed to Iraq from the moment W was elected? Were the attacks preventable?

Yeah, I'm afraid you're right Bucky. Once it was proven that I was 100% right and, more importantly, that the drones and, the personal friends of Barack's, were 100% wrong, I had a funny feeling that this political thread would dry up. I suppose me trying to fan the flames is almost as hopeless as the Dipshitocrats winning in 2010 and 2012. I now happily bow out of this thread (again), and look forward to the day when actual intelligent adults regain the reins of power, and start, once again, defending the rights of the individual as opposed to this collective salvation Marxist claptrap that this stupid fuckstick has been spewing since day one.

I must say that I am stunned that so many people fell for this idiocy, but there you go. Obummer has shit the bed, and so too have the morons running Congress these days. Fear not Buckster! The day of the new conservatives is close at hand! The ghosts of Reagan and Goldwater (and yes, even JFK!) are smiling down upon us all now, and come November we shall be singing Happy Days Are Here Again! Obummer has rendered the Democrat Party dead for the foreseeable future. It will take at least a decade to undo the damage that that ideologue has done. Time to purge this once great party of useless hacks like Pelosi, Reid, Frank, Dodd, Schumer, etc., etc., etc............ The country needs a strong Democrat Party. We just must purge it of the far left hacks that have taken it over and driven the country to the cusp of insolvency! All for the people, mind you! LOL!!!!!!

Just like I said it would be!

Hard and Fast!
