I found this- take it with a grain of salt Huh

Yet another crock from BP. Tell the truth. It was a secret project cooked up by Cheney at the infamous closed door energy policy meeting to drill a 5 foot diameter casing pipe and a 21" drilling pipe some 35,000 feet into an inexhaustible, 25,000 square mile supply of oil under the Gulf. They had planned on getting 200,000 to 500,000 barrels a day from it. The goal was to get us off of foreign oil, so they didn't want the enviromentalists to find out because of the safety questions they would have raised to stop the project. But the pressure was too great and here we are facing doomsday http://theburningplatform.com/blog/2010/05/14/volcano-of-oil

is the world ending...? what a sobering article, about how much oil is coming out and how it reacts to in the water from 5,000 feet down...

why do you go out of your way to make this place hostile and lame? if all you want to do here is fight and argue, there's alot of websites that will welcome you... the tone of this thread wasn't anything near what you just posted... you know that saying, with all due respect? well i  ain't going to use it... b/c you get no respect. i though long and hard about how thinga get mean around here. you start it, just like this, been doing it for years, and when you don't post, it's so much nicer... you should consider leaving or not posting this politcal hateful crap... you have zero respect for this board or the rolling stones... in other words, you start this stuff, so just leave or stop... cause you and this shit are lame.

Pdog, I'm gonna walk you through this, okay? You seemingly have zero problem in your relationship with funman. That's perfectly understandable, I guess. Politically you are both far left of center in your thinking. Well yippee dippidee fucking doo for you guys! Some people get stuck on stupid. I get it. However this guy is such a little wimp because he always tries to deflect any anger that he, and he alone, elicits because of his very offensive comments about stuff that he has zero understanding of. Namely Christianity, and the military. His attitude towards both of these institutions is limited to his liberal/progressive stereotypical world view.

There is no real intellect at work here with funman. He has a solid liberal core value system that he works within. Anything that does not fit into his very narrow myopic progressive (LOL! What an oxymoron that term has become!) framework is worthy of ridicule as far as he's concerned. Thus all the Tea Party attendees are backwards backwood, redneck Bible thumpers, and by golly, they might even own guns! Oh, my! Pretty fucking simpleton way to think if you ask me, but hey, I'm not the moron progressive here, am I?

Let me spell it out. I don't like the guy for shit. Now, that said, I've never met him. I hope that I never do. But for well over a year now this guy has been slamming Christians, or anyone that believes in anything greater than the clueless fuckstain that we have in the White House right now. He has gone out of his way to make damned sure that everyone knows that those that practice their religious beliefs are somehow not has enlightened, or (dare I say it?), as progressive as he is. He has shown an open disdain for the military. Men and woman that have far more spine than he'll ever have!

My family, both immediate and extended, has a very long and very distinguished history in the US military dating back to before the Civil War. My father was a full bird colonel in the Air Force during Vietnam, and was a CO at a training base in Korat, Thailand. I grew up in Bangkok during my elementary years. My grandfather on my dad's side was a.........wait for it..................a Presbyterian minister! Not only that, but he too, was a colonel. He was a chaplain in the Army, and was one of the first American "men of cloth" inside Berlin after the victory over Hitler in 1945. In fact one of the 7th Army commanders gave my grandfather a full set of crystal water goblets that were "liberated" from the villa of Hermann Goering. We still have all eight of them.

Gee, I guess my grandfather is doubly fucked in funamn's eyes, huh?!

My uncle was just laid to rest last week at Arlington National Cemetery in DC. ( He was instrumental in developing the bombardier sighting system in the B-52 bomber, and he also helped design the first ever "smart weapon" systems back in the late 1960's, and early 1970's.) There was a full Honor Guard to escort his horse drawn caisson through the cemetery. Over 50 upright men and women of the US Air Force were members of the honor guard, and band. There was also a 21 gun salute, and, of course, the bugler who played taps. To date 26 members of my family have been laid to rest at Arlington.

I could go on , and on, but suffice to say that I have lived the military life for a good portion of my life, and have been surrounded by great patriots for my entire life. On my father's side there were also more than a few that chose to lead the life of the ministry. To come on this thread and see this little know nothing fuckstick degrade men and women that are miles ahead of him on every level is more than a little disturbing. It pisses me off, and for good reason!

I watched my dad get spit on at the airport back in 1972 when we arrived home from Thailand. He, being a man of honor, chose to ignore the scumbag that spit on him. I have never forgotten that experience.

I haven't the patience to deal with this little Jane Fonda wannabe! I tell him exactly what I think, and if you think that that is "hostile and lame" then so be it! Walk a mile in my shoes, Pdog! Surround yourself with the people in my life. Really understand what it means to serve with honor, and not just bitch and moan about how shitty you think America is.

In closing let me sum it up succinctly. I know for an absolute fact that not one liberal on this board has the courage, the intellect, the wisdom, or the love of nation that the military members of my family have. I don't give a fuck if you went to Harvard, of East Bumblefuck Community College. I'll take your pathetic Harvard sheepskin, and raise you 2 lieutenant generals, one major general, two Rear Admirals, a whole slew of full bird, and Lieutenant Colonels, and dozens of Majors, Captains, and all ranks in between. Not to mention at least three ministers (two Presbyterian, one Methodist) in my lifetime. All of them, down to a man and woman, are members of my family. In fact every single one of them has more integrity than, not only all of the liberals on this board, but the entire Obummer Administration as well. Obama, and his band of leftist morons come up well short when measured against military families! Well short!

Now do you understand why I tell funman to fuck off on a regular basis?! If he wants civility from me then perhaps he should watch his fucking mouth! Constanly ripping Christians, and the military may not offend a liberal like you, Pdog, but I take it to heart. He's talking about my family!!!

Now, feel free to take the last word. You always do.

he didn't say anything warranting your foul response. saying the army kills and blows things up was an abvious joke. I don't have some special relationship with him, and you're an asshole... you need to apologize for gonig off or leave this place. No one did shit to you, and you're the reason things get so foul and heated, it is obvious, your intent is to turn this thread into the one the got shut down, no one else has. Just you taking all this time to justify yourself, shows that your deleuded self centered and think we are all below you... why you even want to post here, is only b/c you feel this need to attack those you deem inferior. Do you think anyone enjoys reading your hate?

Look all I did was say what I felt needed to be said. For far too long I have been reading funman's passive agressive swipes at both the military, and people of faith. It just so happens that my family has a deep, and longstanding relationship with both the military, and the ministry. His swipes are not always so passive in their aggressiveness. Can we all agree that funman believes that he has better grasp on the truth with regards to faith? Can we agree that he feels that people who practice their faith are just not quite as intelligent as he thinks he is? That is self evident when you read anything, and everything that he has ever posted on the subject.

You can accuse me of killing a fly with a sledgehammer, I suppose. But, to me these swipes are rather personal for obvious reasons. I, and others, have mentioned this countless times to him, and it doesn't seem to sink in, or matter to funman. Given the fact that I just returned from burying my uncle, and the fact that it is Memorial Day Weekend, my anger was very close to the surface. However, I have for the most part avoided this thread.

I don't think that the oil spill is Obama's fault, or Bush's fault, for that matter. I do think that the hands off approach to it for so long by Obummer is very telling and sickening, but other than that I just want to see the damned thing stopped.

That is all.

i don't know where in this thread he did what you're saying he did to the military or to christians... I will say this, on memeorial day weekend, you didn't do anyone any service by acting this way, regardless if even this entire thread was bashing those who served, which it isn't, and one joking comment is far from that, and no one has mentioned religion... except you... you might think you're performing some higher sevice, because in your delusioned mind, we are all inferior, and you come from some great gene pool... I feel bad for you, you not only disrespected this board, you dishonored you relatives service, by treating it as if it gives you some right to be an asshole and treat others like crap... it was his service, not yours, and you are using it like you own it... shame on you... everyone i know who has served, does so humbly and doesn't use their service as some sort of excuse to treat others poorly, whether justified or not... when someone like you, thinks that by relations, they have somehow earned what someone else did... disgusting, unpatriotic and you've taken their service and corrupted it with your foulness... they did not serve, so you could take their work and use it to hurt others... so fuck off Riffy.... take your crap somewhere else... the sad thing is, you're so smart, yet so fucking immature at the same time...  i'm sure this would be exactly what all those dead relatives were about... NOT!!!

Who's the one being nasty now? As for your accusation that somehow I make you feel that you are "inferior"? Well, that's just something that you're going to have to work out in your own head. I certainly don't feel that way, nor have I ever suggested anything of the sort. I do take offense to many of the snarky attacks on faith and military service by one poster on this board. I have gone into some detail on the topic, and just because you don't get it dosen't mean that my point is not valid.

I just find it strange that you have zero problem telling me that I am out-of-line, or over-the-top, but funman's attacks go unnoticed by you. Maybe it's because I am a bit more animated in my response than you deem acceptable. I guess to you it seems that I have crossed the line? However, you also think that funman's "all the military can do is kill people, and blow things up" is just a joke. I didn't read it that way. And given the guy's history I think it's perfectly understandable why I would come to that conclusion.

As for "corrupting" my family's service? Nothing that I could say on a message board would ever come close to doing that my friend.

I never told you to fuck off, or anyone else for that matter, save funman. I simply told him that he's a snivling fool for making blanket statements about two brands of people that he has obviously had very little dealings with in his life- people who choose to have faith and attend religious services, and members of the military. I take an equal amount of offense to those attacks as you apparently take at my responses to them.

I think Riffy should make it his patriotic duty to go down to the gulf and plug that hole with his hot air, surely a major league, windbag like that could defeat the forces of nature and shut that leak down

Well I could certainly try. However, I think that there would a greater chance of success if we just plugged the leak with Janet Napolitano's rather rotund ass. Maybe we could shimmy it up with Eric Holder's cluelessness? Just a thought.

I didn't read it that way. where did he attack faith in this thread? I also never said you make me feel inferior... you treat people as such... c'mon, you're smarter than your response... and you have told me to fuck off, countless times, and for no reason other than what you did in this thread... you're reply full of curses and attacks are based on what? and When did these things you cliam happen? You say your family is connected with a ministry? I strongly suggest you take your behavior here, caling people names as you did, and discuss with some church leaders see what they say. They might not say what you want to hear, that I know is fact... There is no form of christianity that condones the way you are behaving... You completly disrepsected your uncle, and millions who have served ind my family, by using his death and their names, as an excuse to act like this... you gave his resume of service and then called Fuman and liberals (an attack on peoples faith by the way) all kinds of foul things... immature and lame... you treat people as if they are inferior to you, and you justify it, by many means... you suffer from a persoanlity disorder and should seek help, and definitely avoid posting here until you can respect this place and the band it was created for... as far as I'm concerned, I'm trying really hard to fell sorry for your loss, but I can't b/c you wielded that loss as a weapon, and the legacy and the man and what he meant to you, seems only something full of hatred, and you were lost to me... you might not realize it, but b/c you're so emotionally immature, and you think you're intellectually superior, you act like the very people and ideas you claim you oppose, and are blind to it...
you know, and I know, if you could speak with your uncle right now, and he saw how you used his legacy on here, he would tell you don't do that in my name... it's memorial day, what kind of memorial is an attack on another person in your uncles name? whether he agreed with you or not... men like him, would put forth effort for good and to be helpful... not do what you do... and we both know, anyone in your family, in the ministry, would not only be ashamed of what you write here, they would probably tell you to not be online, because it is bad for you, if it brings out behavior like this, that you must justify... the bible, clearly states, our anger is never justified... unless you are god... are you god? I got news for you, you're not god, and i don't think god likes you very much... or you wouldn't be such a miserable person... you may need to attend some church on sunday, and not not be online... food for thought...

You don't know what you're talking about. Are you so angry that you can't remember that you have ZERO information about me or my family? Seriously. My family's military service or faith?

Who's sniveling?

Just because you go around bragging about your family's associations doesn't mean others do or should do it..
Sunkist doesn't want tuna with good taste, they want tuna that tastes good.

There's some fodder for your misplaced outrage. Have fun . . .

Look Pdog your Dr. Phil-like psycho analysis on any personality disorder that you think I have is without any merit. I just don't appreciate the constant attacks, benign as they may seem to you, from funman on people that I have direct dealings with a daily basis. I would certainly understand your outrage should someone constantly attack, even indirectly, your family. I would actually defend your anger at any unprovoked attacks brought against you or your family.

I never once made the claim that funman had attacked people of faith on this particular thread. I was speaking to his history of these attacks. However, if I were to peruse all the pages of this thread I'd be willing to bet that he did, in fact, make such a comment. It seems to be in his DNA to attack Christians. Maybe you could do a psycho analytical makeup of that behavior for funman?

Now again, how you can just shrug off the line about the military only knowing how to "kill people" and "blowing things up", but to me that is beyond my ability to comprehend. I know that to you feel there was no malicious intent on his part, but there can be little doubt that what he said would, and should, be considered highly offensive to all members of the armed services, or their family members, of which I'm one.

I also don't recall a time when I ever told you to fuck off. Seriously, I don't recall that ever happening. If it did happen then I offer a public apology to you now for having said it. To funman, all I can say is that perhaps he should consider the true severity of his comments about that with which he has so obviously very little understanding, or appreciation of.

how is the line, " military only knowing how to "kill people" and "blowing things up"" personal to you, and deeming a personal attack response...
why do you keep bringing up religion and old threads... i asked you when and where, he has brought up something religous, and you are citing past stuff, which if I recall, we were all specifically asked to drop... yet you're using that as the reason to assault him persoanally?
and seriuously, saying miltary blows up stuff and kills is true... that's the main purpose of an army, to threaten to do that and when needed carry that out... even during peace time, armies train for that very purpose... and his comment was so tongue a=in cheek, and your response is so out of line...
you ruin this place, just stop... show me where he has attacked you personally since them ods specifically told us, to stop political and religous basing... if he has done so, after that, then by all means, I will not only openly here ask him to knock it the fuck off, I will send him a PM and bring it to the mods... so please, I missed it, show me what thread and when it happened... if he hasn't since then, then it is you, starting this fight... b/c you cam into to this thread, guns blazing and throwing insults and poltical bashing and even you, are the one dragging faith into it... no one else had!!!
STOP IT!!! PLEASE.... if you really feel sorry for telling me to fuck off before, that for gods sake, stop... this baord and everyone here deserve a place for friendly discussion and a common forum for the love of the Stones... can you do that, or are you going to justify forever this petty shit... wasn't it JC before, you would never forgive? Now it is this guy... WTF!!!
