Great Story TomL. My cousin moved from Pitt to Charlotte area years ago. About five years ago she had a new neighbor, yup Bill Cowher. She says the same, very pleasant (and quiet) guy. She has not invited me down, 'cause she knows I'll be knocking on hi door at 3 AM!

Philadelphia Eagles fans took their anger out on a Packers fan's car after losing to Green Bay 21-16 in the Wild Card round of the playoffs, according to the Lehigh Valley's Morning Caller.

After watching their team advance in the playoffs, Peter Coenen said that he and his son, Craig, returned to a beaten down car in the parking lot of Lincoln Financial Field.

"We were just thinking about how nice a day it was and it was a good memory," Peter said. "Then I looked up and said, 'Oh my God.'"

More from the Morning Caller:

His son's Toyota Camry had been stomped on, kicked and beaten (kind of like the Eagles). Fans tore out the windshield wipers and motors and used them to scratch the paint, broke off the side mirrors and left footprints and dents on the hood, trunk and roof.
"It was just drunk, obnoxious Eagles fans," Craig Coenen said Monday after getting a repair estimate of $2,163. "Philadelphia is notorious for this, but hopefully the fans who did this are the exception, not the rule."

The father also said that before he and his son left Green Bay, people told them to be careful because of the reputation of Eagles fans.

DIAMONDHEAD, Miss. — The 34-year-old sister of Vikings quarterback Brett Favre faces drug charges after she was arrested Wednesday in a raid on a Mississippi condo where people were making crystal methamphetamine, authorities said.

Brandi Favre was among five people arrested in the Diamondhead bust and was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine and generating hazardous waste, said Hancock County Sheriff's Maj. Matt Karl.

"She happened to be there and she was arrested along with the others," Karl said.

Two of the other suspects face the same charges as Favre. The other two were charged with sale of a controlled substance. And one of them also faces a charge of possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.

The four other suspects ranged in age from 25 to 53.

About nine grams of the drug – worth about $1,000 – was recovered and hazardous materials teams had to clear the condo, Karl said.

Brandi Favre was in custody and has an initial court appearance scheduled Thursday morning.

A message left for Brett Favre's agent James "Bus" Cook wasn't immediately returned.

The arrest was first reported by WLOX-TV in Biloxi.

During a press conference today with the media, New England Patriots wide receiver Wes Welker made 11 references to feet and “stepping up” in what many are saying were subtle jabs at New York Jets coach Rex Ryan.

The Jets and the Patriots play this weekend in Foxborough, the latest installment in what has become one of the NFL’s most bitter rivalries. That bitterness was punctuated this week when Ryan took some shots at Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, and New York cornerback Antonio Cromartie told the Daily News that Brady was an “a–hole.”

Now, it appears that Welker was taking shots at Ryan, albeit in a much subtler way. The Jets head coach was the subject of a foot fetish exposé done by Deadspin, which showed that a woman resembling his wife (who was filmed by a man that sounded like him) had made numerous feet-centric videos and posted them on YouTube.

We play a tough division foe for the third time this year in the J E T S.
They are coached well, are explosive on offense, very good on defense & special teams.
We need to be careful of several players, who can rise to their game quickly.
J E T S beat a great team last week in the Colts.
This means the J E T S have gotten better since we faced them last.
This is the tournament, lose & go home.
We need to play 60 minutes of team football to beat the J E T S.
