Pats played a tough team in the Bears yesterday.
We were able to play good team football for 60 minutes for the win.
Always good to have a win.
Now we've moved on to game plan for the Packers.
This is a tough team.
They are well coached, have an explosive offense, a terrific defense.
They play well in all three phases of the game.
We will need to play 60 minutes of team football to defeat the Packers.

The Falcons are an NFC team which are not on our current schedule.
We are preparing for the Packers, whom we play this week.
They are the last NFC team on our schedule.

We are not concerned about the Patriots currently, we have bigger fish to fry. The Saints are the defending Super Bowl Champs. The Eagles are loaded at all positions and no one wants to play Tampa Bay. Emotions are undulating.

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. — Turns out this was one costly trip for Sal Alosi.

The New York Jets assistant coach who tripped a Miami Dolphins player during a game was suspended by the team Monday night without pay for the rest of the season, including the playoffs, and fined an additional $25,000.

Alosi, the strength and conditioning coach, began serving his suspension immediately and will have no access to the team's practice facility.

"I accept responsibility for my actions and respect the team's decision," Alosi said in a statement.

General manager Mike Tannenbaum said Alosi will also not be allowed to interact with any players or coaches "as it pertains to his job function." He added that the team spoke with the NFL about the incident throughout the day, and the league will issue no further discipline.

"Hopefully we're going to learn from what happened yesterday and take full responsibility for it," Tannenbaum said. "We're really disappointed with Sal, with what happened, and we're going to hold him accountable for his actions."

Alosi stuck out his left knee on the sideline and tripped Dolphins cornerback Nolan Carroll, who was covering a punt in the third quarter of Miami's 10-6 win Sunday.

"I let everybody down yesterday with my actions," said Alosi, fighting back tears during a news conference earlier Monday. "My actions were inexcusable and irresponsible."

Carroll, a rookie, fell to the turf and lay there for several minutes before walking off.

That's nice of you to say but we've lost six starters in the last three weeks.  I think the only way we are going to be able to stop Suh from getting to Josh Freeman Sunday is to start Josh Johnson.  With that said, I think Coach Morris and his staff have done a fantastic job this season and fans couldn't ask for more of an effort from this team.  Does Barber get into the HOF?

Tough is explaining to the Ramada Inn Night Manager, when your pupils are the size of 8-balls, why the goddam cockroaches sucking on the wall to wall carpet entitle you to a "fucking refund."

What you are talking about is finesse.  Eff Eye En Eee Ess Ess Eee.  Finesse.  That's what the Patriots have, and the Nation will get, in due course.

The Chicago Tribune is reporting that the Georgia Dome is being strongly considered as the site for Monday night's NFL game between the Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings.

The game had been scheduled for Minnesota, but the Metrodome is still unusable due to a collapsed roof. The University of Minnesota was another option, but field conditions due to heavy snow and ice makes that option impractical, the Tribune reported.

Any other sites in the Midwest are viewed by the Vikings as favorable to the Bears due to their large fan base throughout the region, the Tribune said.

AJC reporters are checking with Dome officials and the Atlanta Falcons on this developing story.

It comes down to the Patriots and their manicured professionalism versus the Pittsburgh Steelers (Nation) and their native poise and moxie (they possess both).

The Rolling Stones!  What a band that is (should be in RRHOF).  Muscle Shoals, man.  Muscle Shoals is where its at, like a black fucking locomotive carving up the goddam swamp.
