Nothing like wall to wall football to celebrate Thanksgiving. Oh yeah and thanks to this, that and the other thing....Blah,blah,blah. Wow,pretty easy today to tell what it takes to win a game. Don't fuck up.The Lions,Cowboys and Bengals alll had chances to win their games. But all self destructed against legit playoff teams. Even I can figure that out...and did,on to a nice piece of cabbage for the day.....Oh yeah and good friends, meal and all that stuff. But mostly I'm thankful for football. piss off

The executive director of the National Football League players union said a player lockout next season is a “near certainty,” and that it would cost the U.S. economy an estimated $5 billion in lost wages, taxes and other revenue if the entire season is canceled.

In an interview on “Political Capital With Al Hunt” airing this weekend on Bloomberg Television, union chief DeMaurice Smith said if NFL owners lock out players in order to get concessions in a labor dispute, it would be devastating to local communities as the country struggles with a 9.6 percent unemployment rate.

“The magnitude of the loss would be at the very least about $160 million to $170 million per team-city,” Smith said. “That is a conservative estimate of the economic impact.”

Hell God had to give the Steelers at least one break in that game. Tough to win on the road when Refs all over you. Bills passed 47 times and not one holding call?..anyway this kid is sounding like the latest jerk on the scene. Move over Ocho Stinko. Pats/Falcons anyone???

Well, everybody knows what team God took off Sunday to watch...

Seriously, that was the funniest tweet ever.  I didn't know the Steelers traded Limus Sweed to the Bills.

Food for thought guys?......The 18 game thing is an owner's scam which they know players will fight. So they drop back to 16 games as part of the new labor deal as a gimme to the players? When the 18 game was a non starter day one.......

Don't think so GK. I think they are very serious about an 18 game season. Just a matter of what they give the players in return. Bigger roster, more bye weeks, shorter pre-season, less off season workouts. In the end the money will talk.

That is fantastic.  Johnson raising the celestial standard.  I'd like to see god get blamed for a lot more of his goddam fuckups - Mormons, bundt cakes, various barfing diseases, stuff that's busted when you buy it, logjams, etc.

Could be some snow games today. Big fun. That's why football is the greatest game in the world. No cancelling games because of weather. Angry

A lot of truculence in this thread.  It's unsettling.

Focus: It's Nation Time in prime time.  And Curtis Lowe was the finest picker to ever play the blues.

Looks like your guys won.  Don't worry, the Lions aren't as pathetic as they used to be.

And now.......Nation Time!
