The Rams, ok here we go. They are well coached and solid in all 4 aspects of the game. We will need a good week of practice and play a turnover free game. It will be important to take the crowd out early. This game was originally scheduled to be played in Atlanta, but the NFL changed the schedule breakdown to ease East-West coast travel. FLY AIRTRAN

Until this season, it has never been the style of Jamie Dixon to run the score up on anbody.  The last two games, however do not fit into that mold.  It could be because the bench is just as talented as the starters.  There is no standout player on the team.  Just solid teamwork.

The Terps should be ok.  Pitt does have one major and somewhat unfair advantage on everybody so far in this early season.  They played their 15th game today, and have been practicing since August.  The NCAA gave them permission to do so becuase they toured Ireland.  They played ten games in Ireland, even playing in Gazza's town!

You know, I'm glad this game is in November and not March (or even December).  I don't get too emotionally involved  in college hoops until conference play.  Lately, MD has had some pitiful losses early (American U, nearly losing to College of Charleston), and some good victories over top teams (Mich St the year they made it to the final vs. UNC).  Moreso than almost any other sport or league, NCAABB teams morph from this time to March.  If MD can keep it within single digits, I'll be very happy.  And I'll return to root for Pitt to destroy some of those punks in the BE (suck it, Georgetown).

To be toatally honest with you, both teams played like shit.  The Terps would have won that game if they could make a free throw.  I becheering for the Terps during ACC play , especially when they play Duke.

Thanks homie.  It wasn't a sight for sore eyes, that's for sure - typical early season game.  All it will do is be a footnote on this teams tournament "resume" that says "vs. Pitt L by 9," and how each team improves or gets worse will determine the quality of the result.  I put the importance of these games about 1/4 of that of late season conference games, so beating a Duke, 'Cuse, etc. in February will more than make up for any early blunders.

It's Spanish for the referees in todays game are a bunch of idiots.  As I posted over on Facebook, only two of the personal foul penalites on the Steelers.  The one on Chris Kemoeatu (That was after Richard Seymour punched Ben in the face, and the clipping call.  I haven't seen clipping called in a NFL game in about thirty years.

Doesn't helmet to helmet contact involve actually hitting somebody in the head?  Is James Harrison even allowed to touch a quarterback?  I never would have said this before today, but penalites that are the judgement of a ref should be permitted to be reviewed.  I never bitch about the refs, but their bullshit personal foul calls today were out of hand.

Childress will be out by tomorrow and Frazier takes over......Bengals would fire Lewis but they are too cheap to pay 2 coaches. Also watch for Jets to sign former Steeler kicker Jeff Reed.....that is all......enjoy the Turkey festival guys!

They've lived by the Vick pretty good so far. You better worry about the Packers. Interesting stuff Ronnie!
