Well, thanks for all that, pdog, but I assure you that I have no prejudices or preconceptions whatsoever about whatever makes other people tick sexually, it's their own business whatever they like. I'm just curious, nothing more nothing less. I count 7 gay men and only 4 lesbian women amongst my fairly close friends. Occasionally I have asked the gay men stuff about sexuality, promiscuity, their attitude towards their partner sleeping with other men, jealousy, difference between love and getting laid etc, I'm fairly open with them and I'd like to think that I have never offended them with any of my questions. The women, however, I find much harder to speak to, and the reason I have never asked them is exactly NOT wanting to offend them, because both couples have exactly that role-play I was telling you about. So, simply put, I feel a lot more comfortable asking you, a stranger/friend on a chatboard, than I would feel asking them. And I certainly did not mean to upset you with anything I said, the Hulk/Olive thing is to ellucidate what I mean, absolutely no offence intended and if caused then I apologise unreservedly.
Interesting story with the chap that first beat you up and then came on to you... I'm sure you're right, a lot of people hate the part they recognise in themselves and fear. It's a lot easier beating the shit out of someone else than facing your own fears. Like the father of the boy in "American Beauty", one of my favourite movies...
The words I type, convey a much harsher tone, then I have, just my passion on this topic comes across... A popular gay community joke is: what do gay men bring to a 2nd date? what's a second date? What do two lesbians bring to a second date? A U-hual truck. Men and women are much different, men way more slutty. And you may have answered, my question, by your reply. You feeling more comfortable asking the men and talking openly, is true for me as well, so maybe there is a certain closed and more private aspect to female relationships... and it might be a reason why women are more likely to settle down, and why men might be more likely to have alot of partners... that is what I've found to be key... women seem more likely to be intimate and very much into very strong, emotional loving relationships... making queries into those relationships, seem kinda of intrusive... but if it is the guys, who are just having fun and fucking alot, you get alot of good stories and stuff, but nothing very deep... this stuff to me, is what is more fascinating, than if you have a cock or a vibrator involved... And yes, as i said, I'm very serious on this topic, but it's b/c it is still a very important social issue... at least to me it is.
