Hello newbie ~ greetings from Atlantic City, NJ!  I live a long way from Scotland! People on this board are from all over the world, which comes in really handy when there is a Stones tour. You are so young you probably havent had a chance to to see the Stones, have you? Well if there is another tour, I advise you to GO TO AS MANY SHOWS as possible, dont listen to your parents if they say NO! You may not get too many more opportunities for a Stones tour!

Her parents? By the time the Stones tour again, she'll probably be a grandmother... Smiley

No I have never seen the Stones. My dad would let me travel to the other end of the world to see them because he knows I love them so much. My mum is just a bit unsure but dad just tells her to shut up. I'd be really upset if there wasn't a tour. Thanks for welcoming me.

Oh and thanks buddahbone, I like making lots of vids and tributes to them. I started a series of Stones tributes through each decade.

Haha! TomL, Love to meet you all and have a great time! Smiley

Stay away from Tom if you have any sense!  Oh no! not you again

Where are you in Scotland? I saw the Stones at Hampden in 1990 and 2006, SECC Glasgow in 2003 (both shows) and Murrayfield, Edinburgh in '99. Been over there a few times for Dylan, Springsteen, Tom Waits and U2 in recent years as well.

Scotland has the best audiences in the British Isles by a mile.

I stay in Stirling. Crappy place. Made into a city not long ago actually but it's more like "shitty".

Wow! Nice one, Gazza. I think when I'm a grandmother I won't look as good as the Stones themselves.

At Some Guy:  Shit! Uh...

Ah, Stirling.

Been there a couple of times. Last time was to see Dylan at Stirling Castle in 2001. Sounded exotic on the face of it, although unfortunately they held the gig in the car park, and it pissed down.

Liked the town though. Spent a lot of the time downing Aftershocks in 'Whistle Binkies' and 'Best Bar None'.   Let's go get drunk

I hate being in Stirling, haven't got a car (thanks to fucking idiot dad's drunk driving) and I've never ever been abroad.
Only place I've been to outside of Scotland is Blackpool...and I was about 4 at the time.  stu watching how stupid we are LOL
Never been on a plane before either.

Plenty of time for all that!

Scottish Rolling Stones fans and Blackpool can be a very dangerous combination as history has proven.....

Haha! Mind you this was before I even knew what a friggin' radio was let alone The Stones.
However, nowadays gimme a few drinks down my throat, and someone looking for trouble...I think I'd be up to standards.  Roll Eyes  War horses couldn't drag me away

(Just ask my dad, he's been at the other end of my fist a few times...And he's still fucking stupid.)

I should bloody think so, too. It's 1964 I'm talking about and the infamous Tower Ballroom riot!
