Late Night With Jimmy Fallon" is devoting its entire run during the week of May 10 to special shows saluting the Rolling Stones' iconic album "Exile on Main Street." That week, a host of major acts will perform covers of songs from "Exile," and that Friday's (May 14) episode will feature the premiere of a new documentary about the album's creation, "Stones in Exile."

Participating bands have yet to be officially announced, but they are expected to include some of rock's biggest names. It is also unknown if members of the Rolling Stones will be part of the celebration.

Released in 1972, "Exile on Main Street" is infamous for its debaucherous recording sessions at Keith Richards' mansion in the south of France. The album spawned a host of instant Stones classics, including "Loving Cup," "Sweet Virginia," "Tumbling Dice," "Ventilator Blues," "Rocks Off" and "Torn and Frayed."

"Exile" will be reissued on May 18 through Universal with 10 previously unreleased tracks from the original sessions, including "Following the River," "Plundered My Soul," "Pass the Wine" and "Dancing in the Light." A super deluxe edition includes the album on vinyl, a 30-minute DVD and a 50-page book with photos from the era.

Tickets to Late Night With Jimmy Fallon are available by calling our ticket office at (212) 664-3056. Please call for availability. Generally, tickets are booked about one month in advance from the actual taping. You can request up to four tickets, and all audience members must be at least 17 years old. You may only book tickets once every six months, and you may not book tickets with any other groups of people. Information about last minute ticket openings will be advertised through Late Night's Twitter updates.

My thoughts exactly. I really doubt the Exile reissues will bring in that much money for the band. They wouldn't show up unless they're trying to start a buzz about something else imo. I don't think any of the Stones will actually perform on the show. Although, they did do SNL...

That would look terrible. Rest of the Stones cant be arsed, but Keith plays with a back up band.

Cant see it.

They're promoting the reissue of a Stones album.

Either they'll play as a band or not at all.

Almost certainly the latter.

COOL! I was able to get tickets for the May 11th show! Thanks Luxury for the reminder to call! If anyone else wants to try for tickets the number is 212-664-3056 you gotta do it now because there arent many tickets left for that week, the 13 & 14th are already 'sold out'. I hope this is good! Oh well even if nobody special shows up it's still fun entertainment and the price is right ~ FREE!

I had a feeling Phish would be one of the bands performing. Their live Exile tribute that they streamed on their site a while back was truly excellent. I wouldn't be surprised if Jack White performed as well.
