Blues or rock 'n' roll???

Blues or Rock 'n' Roll??

Just curious what all of you Stonesfans here prefer, blues or rock 'n' roll.
At home I prefer to listen to the blues, and much less to rock 'n' roll.
At a concert however I prefer rock 'n' roll, the rawer and louder, the better, and please please skip the ballads.
On the other hand however, the Stones with Buddy Guy on SAL was maybe the best performance I've seen in years.
So it's obvious, I can't make up my mind between let's say Muddy Waters and Chuck Berry (although Chuck did some great blues too)
What's your opinion on this?

I listen to Howlin' Wolf quite often - with Buddy and Muddy thrown in for good measure.

Very dependent on mood, surroundings, circumstances, amount of alcohol consumed, etc.

Sometimes, when you've had a really bad day

Blues can ease that pain.

Or it can make your blues turn to drink...

If you are with friends, and you want to liven it up some, blues ain't doin' it.
You need some rock.
You need to let your inner Angus out

I love the Blues when The Stones play them...but by nature i am a rocker...Mod...Punk...or roller...whatever.

I agree (as there is any viable argument) with those that say that there is alot of crap out there under the banner of RnR...but there is so much out there that is quite brilliant and surprisingly still not known by the masses...usually by the time they are known...it is "Yesterday's Paper" and quite bland...

I enjoy about 90% of the music i hear on Sirius 25, LSUG...it has turned me on to so much new stuff and an incredible amount of older and real old stuff too!!!
