I can finally talk about that game. Damn, what a blown opprotunity! We played very sloppy which is unusual, but not being able to hit is nothing new. What Maddon was thinking starting c. Kelly Shoppach, I'll never understand...he's a sub 200 hitter and his defense doesn't make up for it. Christ, their fat ass catcher stole a base on us and Shoppach never even threw the ball and a decent throw would have got him. Cliff Lee is a stud and I'll be rooting for him and Texas the rest of the way, hopefully. Maddon is a huge Stone's fan, during the 2008 playoffs they were part of his pregame ritual.
