emotionally speaking i am hoping for another twins trophy.

realistically speaking, i don't see how the phils don't take it all with that rotation, taking into consideration howe they're playing right now. realistically speaking, i am wondering if they will give up more than five or six runs this postseason.....

listening to the radio on the way home tonight....the local sports talk was discussing ichiro's 10 straight season of 200 hits. one of the hosts, who is a prominent sports writer around the twin cities, was blowing it and ichiro off, saying "he's just a singles guy" and "walks and stolen bases don't matter...what's his OPS?" and "c'mon...this isn't 1912!" or something like that. i personally wanted reach through the radio and slap the guy across the back of the head, as i think ichiro is one of the best pure hitters in the game.

ichiro....cobbesque or much ado about nothing? discuss.
