Hey GK. I think overturning it now opens a slippery slope. How many times after this will their be calls to overturn an umps bad call? It didn't cost the Tigers the game. It didn't decide a pennant or World Series. It amounts to just a statistic....Perfect games are turning out to be a dime a dozen these days. With players off the juice anybody can be perfect....How's your curveball these days? Wow!

Actually in the 41 years of the Spos/Nats this will be only the second #1 ever following up on the Strasburg pick. if you are gonna be lousy it was a great 2 years to have it happen. Harper is heads above the rest. Didnt the Rays have multiple first overall picks?

Delmon Young and Josh Hamilton were also number one picks by Tampa a few years earlier. Better days ahead for the Nats. Strasburg makes his debut Tuesday. Enjoy it, gk.

Well Strasburg looked great and showed poise and control. Be interesting to see how he pitches against the top clubs or his second go around when teams have seen him before. As a fan though I am pissed cause if they had started him day 1 Nats might be in the thick of the race. Guess they wanted to save his eligibility for free agency eyc by calling him up in June. but what's the diff on his arm throwing innings in minors or majors? Now just sign Harper and I will be real happy. haven't been this happy about my Exponats since the days of the Hawk.
