Any Smithereens fans?

Any Smithereens fans out there? If so, any suggestions on what a Smithereens virgin should pick up to get into the band? Any best/favorite album suggestions? All I have are their beatle albums.

Pat Dinizio, i guess, is doing a show in a friend's living room in April. Go figure. Talk about front row seat.

Don't know how much stuff is still in print. Pick up one of their comps - there's like three or four of 'em. Pat's been doing the living room gigs for a while... He's a big baseball fan, too. Chat him up with some Twins. Stupid poll, btw.

I love me some Smithereens!! Heard them a few years back at an outdoor concert. Got to be up close and personal, standing/jumping/singing right in front of the stage. Nice experience.

Green Thoughts is my favorite.
Then you could get Especially For You, and God Save The Smithereens. I think Pat has a couple of solo CD's, but I don't have them....

And Dennis Diken is a Charlie acolyte. He's even played "him" in the Mike Hunt Band. Here's a few pics from a Jersey show a coupla years ago:
