He had to buy a book to help him remember all the recording dates, good grief these guys are out of touch

Check it out, if you look under the audio player on that site, there's an article about Keith and Jack white. I put it in babelfish, but it didn't translate well, looks like it says something about them writing 2 songs together and producing an album(?) Can anyone translate.

Is this news?

I know they had a mysterious meeting last year but I don't remember hearing anything about recording songs or an album

he also backs up the other story he mentioned a few weeks ago where they got some Stones 'expert' to send him 'Exile' outtakes that were on bootlegs and the guy sent them stuff which was recorded several years LATER.

Old news. I don't think anyone thinks there's much coming from Keith and Jack.

That info is from September, and also appeared in the US version of Rolling Stone.

Much easier to understand...  Wink

So, basically as far as his definition of what the outtakes of 'Exile' are, he dates them from anything after when the first 'Exile' song was recorded ('Loving Cup', London 1969) - which was actually during the 'Let It Bleed' sessions. up to when the album was mixed (ie early 1972)

The outtakes considered feature alternate versions of released songs as well as unreleased tracks, some of them needing some extra parts added (percussion, etc) to songs which were unfinished. The original 'Exile' album isn't remixed, just remastered.

And the track known as 'Sophia Loren' wont actually be called that.

His attempt at saying "whatever" in an American accent is difficult to listen to. Thanks for the interview Gazza.

Music, to me, is the joy, right? I love my kids most of the time, and I love my wife most of the time. Music I love all the time. It's the only constant thing in my life. It's the one thing you can count on. :Keith Richards 1993

Thanks for posting Gazza. Also for me wasn't never easy understand how Mick speaks, and the accent too. When happens me to hear others talks its  easy understand them.
No Sofia Loren then? If I knew, I could lend him part of my stuff to listen...
Oh no! not you again

Wicked Pissa interview.  It would be great to know the book & bootlegs he's referring to.
Thanks again Gazza!

At a guess, I'd say Martin Elliott's 'Complete Recording Sessions'...its probably the one that's the easiest to find.

Ah!  I have this.  I've not read it in sometime.  I'll need to go back in for it.
Thanks!
