Thanks!  Best Les Paul tone ever?

For anybody from Philly looking at these shows, 930 is nice, around 1200 capacity, so you'd probably get a blend of acoustic and electric tunes.  Ram's Head is great though - holds 200, but may be sold out.  Birchmere is a bit further away, but still great to see a gig, maybe can fit 500 or so.

Ray's been busy these last few years.
He was just around a coupla months ago supporting 'The Kinks Choral Collection'.

Sad to hear that Dave has cancelled his scheduled mini-tour due to "serious illness".
Was looking forward to seeing him in NYC.

Speedy recovery to lil' brother...

Damn!  Wanted to see one of DD's gigs.  You been to one before?  If so, what's the set and band like?

Saw Dave about 10 years ago at the Bottom Line in NYC.
Had some young kids backing him.

Good mix of Kinks and solo stuff.
Was happy to see and feel those power chords in such a small place.

Interesting.  I would expect his guitar to be the loudest noise on stage.  Woulda liked to see him in Sellersville.  I don't mind his vox either - nice and mellow.

Yes, uncleson is pleased.  Saw Ray live about a year ago, and he was GREAT.

Very sad, though, that Dave wasn't feeling up to going out on the road.

97.1, The Drive, Chicago is featuring the Kinks on it's Rock n Roll Roots Sunday morning show tomorrow, at 7 am. I heard that it was in honor of Dave's birthday. I think the rest of the day is devoted to the British Invasion, music and interviews.
