You've got that right. I had the good fortune to speak to Mary today and she said the pain was so excruciating when she first woke up, she was praying for God to take her. But that was yesterday; today she was up and in a chair, started on fluids and her Doctor is very pleased. She says the ICU nurses are taking wonderful care of her and even allowed a phone in ICU so she could talk to her long distance loved ones. We didn't talk long; I told her everyone here was praying and sending good wishes and she was happy. It's been an amazing weekend!!! Thank you all so so much.

She's got her stage patter goin' down pretty good - I spoke to her last night for a couple of minutes and she said the same thing!

Quite an ordeal she's gone through, make no mistake, but it's well worth it.

Yep, I surprised GTRM with a visit today! I called ahead and found out the visiting hours, but I did not call Mary just in case she might of said no, dont come, not feeling strong enough, etc. As I headed into the room I noticed the bed was neatly made and there was no one in it. But I heard her voice and there she was sitting in the chair talking on the phone! Turns out the chair is a more comfortable position for her than the bed. She had a shocked look on her face and a big smile when she saw me! Ah it was great to see Mary and know the worst is behind her now. Her spirits are up and she is doing well under the circumstances. She is on the road to recovery now, and in alot of pain but the hospital is very clean, modern and organized, and the nurses and doctors are treating her right. She has the determination to get back to good health and live a fun life again. I told her I never gave up hope on her, not for a minute, and we WILL get to another concert together, yeah, we will hear THE ROLLING STONES play Tumbling Dice and Bitch one more time! She'll be all healed up in time for the 50 Year Anniversary Tour, and yeah, I never gave up on that idea either!
