each other moral support

WITH Rolling Stones bandmates Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood both now on the wagon after years of heavy boozing, we hear they have been giving each other moral support as they cope with life without the bottle.

The two guitarists were known to have drifted apart of late, with Keith reportedly unimpressed by Ronnie’s wild lifestyle, which saw him leave wife Jo for young Russian lover Ekaterina Ivanova.

However Ronnie is currently being kept off alcohol by his new 30-year-old girlfriend, Brazillian polo coach Ana Araujo and looked impressively sober during a night out at Cipriani restaurant in London on Sunday. The famously hard-living Richards, 66, has also recently stopped drinking, following advice from doctors.

Pals say the two are encouraging each other. “Keith and Ronnie hadn’t had much to do with one another but now they’re back in touch,” we’re told. “They’ve both given up alcohol recently so they can obviously relate to each other’s situation. They’ve been giving one another plenty of moral support.”

Well during that interview with the Italian rolling stone about the Exile remastered edition. He does say that it's not something that's going to be a big seller. Just to hear him acknowledge that is amazing. Maybe they really are mellowing in their old age. Blank Frigging Stare

RONNIE WOOD is running out of pals prepared to put up with his boozy behaviour.

The latest chum to chuck in the towel is Bernie Pratt, who manages Wood's lucrative sideline in painting.

He has called time because Ronnie has been too drunk to put brush to canvas.

A source said: "Ronnie hasn't gone near his oils since well before Christmas. He's not been taking the medication that was supposed to keep him booze free."

I'm not surprised - Ron's been busy partying with a string of ladies since splitting with EKATERINA IVANOVA late last year.
