Yeah, but my point was that a tour in 2010 wasnt likely to happen for about another 8 months anyway.

You may be right, but I'd imagine Ronnie's health is the main factor. The talk in recent weeks that he may have been replaced would suggest that the rest of the band have had a bucketful of having to go through this shit every time they try and plan anything.

After seven or eight half arsed and quite pathetic attempts at rehab, it could be he's been given an ultimatum - ie, take a proper length of time to sort his addictions out permanently or he's history. If he's not going to be clean enough to be an insurance risk he'll have finally outlived his usefulness to the rest of the band.

EXCLUSIVE: Our three-day fling, by Ronnie Wood's new young Russian lover

The latest young woman to be bowled over by the charms of Ronnie Wood spoke last night about their three-day fling.
PR girl Hannah Kamelmacher, who at 26 is 36 years younger than the hard-living guitarist, told how she was lured to his Surrey castle after giving him her phone number.
Speaking exclusively to the Daily Mail she said she had been instantly attracted to the Rolling Stone and found him 'engaging'.
But the bad news for the veteran rocker is that she has already called an end to their relationship.
Miss Kamelmacher - who has Russian heritage like Wood's 21-year-old ex Ekaterina Ivanova - said the couple met last Wednesday over drinks. She is friends with Wood's son-in-law, TV producer Jack McDonald.
She admitted: 'I'd never dated anyone much older than me or anyone famous.
'I did recognise Ronnie - and he didn't appear to have been drinking. But we had a great conversation after which he asked me for my number. I found him engaging.
'He then called me and asked me out for a meal and I said yes.
'I know he had split with Ekaterina recently, but I wasn't reticent about going out on a date with Ronnie.'
Miss Kamelmacher revealed that she had visited Wood's £4,000-a-week rented home in Claygate. Friends admitted she had been 'starstruck' by the guitarist. Sources confirmed they spent the night together.
The couple enjoyed meals out and were first spotted cuddling up as they watched Wood's friend, snooker champion Jimmy White, play at Wembley on Sunday.
Afterwards Wood is believed to have taken Miss Kamelmacher to a five-star hotel. She was not spotted back at her flat on a rundown estate in Hackney, East London.
Miss Kamelmacher said: 'He was a gentleman throughout our time together. We watched a couple of movies, went for a meal and went to the snooker.
'He was very kind and gave me a scarf from his collection at Liberty.'
The couple dined at Ronnie's local Chinese restaurant. And bizarrely, Wood's ex-wife Jo, 54, spotted them as she walked past the restaurant after taking one of her grandchildren to the cinema next door.
Miss Kamelmacher said: 'Ronnie was surprised when Jo came in, but he only mentioned Jo and Ekaterina in passing when he was with me.'
The PR revealed she had broken off the short romance during a phone call to Wood.
She said: 'I will not be seeing him again. We last saw each other on Sunday, but it has been a very challenging couple of days and I would not want to see Ronnie again.'
Miss Kamelmacher refused to accept any payment for the interview.
A friend said: 'She does not want to profit from a few dates with Ronnie in the slightest.
'She was starstruck when she met him - you would be if you met a Rolling Stone - but all the fuss over their dates has come out of the blue and taken Hannah and her family by surprise.'
A source close to Wood said: 'Ronnie was very keen on Hannah. He said she had cooked for him, saying "She's just like Jo, she wants to cook me organic food".
'They did sleep together, but they only went on a few dates. He really just wants someone to look after him. He's lonely after splitting with Katia.'
Wood and Miss Ivanova split following a stormy 18-month relationship that led to a violent row in December, where Wood was arrested by police and later given a caution.
Despite Miss Ivanova's claims that Wood plied her with cocaine shortly after they first met, Miss Kamelmacher said: 'He did not offer me any drugs.'

Rehab is usually a place where people are forced to go by other people, they go there to get the heat off, dry out & make up for it by going on a good drunk next time, they don't really want to stop drinking, I believe it was Keith who said "Rehab is for quitters"
if Ronnie wants to sincerely stop drinking then he'll do something about it himself, not have other people do it for him.

Well at least Charlie gave us a glimpse of the future. It would be great to see them once more, but seeing is believing. Charlie and Mick could probably start rehearsing tomorrow, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the health of Ronnie and Keef.

The most blatant examples of him being a knob are when he bad mouthes Mick's albums. Although it is sometimes justified in the sense that Mick's albums should be better for his talent, it is not justified in the sense of not keeping things in house. This is especially true because Keith always twats on about you never leave the Rolling Stones unless you're in a coffin and what not and all this loyalty stuff. That's why, like Mick says, he really is a bigger diva than Mick- at least sometimes. I've never heard Mick say that Keith's stuff is crap because if he did, he knows that Keith would start an unbelievably huge argument because he can't take criticism but dishes it out regularly.

Those pics of Keith are fantastic and its good to see him without all that crap tied in his hair.....I was beginning to think he didnt have any with all those beads and string and shit all tied up looking like a spiders nest

There's probably a good reason why Keith has barely touched a guitar in the last couple of years...
