He's carrying it for Keith I would imagine, everybody seems to be ready, are you ready, how many times I've heard Ya Yas & watched Gimme Shelter, I practically know every word spoken before it's spoken, like a lot of us, that was just like a magic period for the Stones for me.

Need to listen to it again.

So Keith played a National Guitar in 1969 ? That's news to me too, on Prodigal Son ? Did he ever play it since on stage ?

Yes, he played it on "You Gotta Move" too, I don't think that Keith ever played it on stage since, I could be wrong, Bukka White payed him a great compliment backstage, from a article by Michael Lydon who covered the tour in a Ramparts magazine I still got, "Bukka White, an old black bluesman from memphis, cousin & teacher of B.B. King, is backstage at the Forum, & a young white friend takes him in to meet the Stones, Keith is sitting plucking out a tune on his national steel guitar, that's Bukka's instrument & he listens for a minute, then turns to Mick "Why That boy pickin' says Bukka, genuinely amazed, "He's a star, Hey boy" & he taps keith's knee, "You ever cut any records, You're that good boy"
