I've seen both versions of the band--as you obviously have not. My opinion is thus informed and based on experience. Yours is that of a dumbass reactionary frozen in time with adolescent memories of his first beer and first joint. Slash composed some solos....wow.....subsequent events have shown who the songwriters were and are.....Izzy has more talent in his left pinky than Slash...

btw....A Guns N' Roses concert scheduled for December 13th in Seoul, Korea -- the band's first gig ever in that country -- could set a new record for ticket sales in that nation, according to JoongAng Daily. Promoters said that tickets for the show, which is scheduled for a venue called the Olympic Park Gymnasium, are selling briskly, with representative Yvette Moon proclaiming on Monday (November 16th), "Ticket sales have already broken records set by other successful concerts we organized earlier in the year, like the Lady Gaga show this August."

When I first heard "Runnin' With The Devil" on the radio, I was stunned and found myself dizzy, walking through my high school hallways thinking, "What was THAT?! Eddie Van Halen was so innovative and kicked so much ass, and David Lee Roth was for a time indisputably the Greatest Man in America. If aliens came down and challenged us to a Battle of the Bands to decide the fate of Planet Earth, I would feel very confident putting early Van Halen forward as our champion
