Thought some might be interested to know Ian McLagan plays keys all over the new John Mayer album.  If you're not a fan of the guy or haven't bought any of his previous records, by all means don't start with this one, but there's some pretty tasty guitar work on it.  Waddy Wachtel makes an appearance (nothing noteworthy) and Steve Jordan's been handling drums for him for a while.  Maybe Blondie will be next?

Anyway not sure how much work Mac gets as a session musician on releases like this & don't go buy the album expecting any rockin keyboard playing, just thought it was sorta cool to see his name.
