Was listening to the local classic rock station and heard a really sweet version of Miss You. It was a studio version that was quite a bit longer than the Some Girls Version. It had a really cool sax solo near the end....I want it!

Aye, Rarities was the first CD I checked but the dance version on there doesn't have a sax solo. Sad

Might be 'Miss You IV' from the 'Flashpoint' bonus disc, 'Collectibles'.

That's longer than the version on 'Rarities'.

More proof of what a pointless and stupid release 'Rarities' was.

They included the 'rare' 12'inch version of 'Miss You' - and then chopped a full minute off it, totally defeating the purpose.

There's five officially released versions that I know of

The version on 'Some Girls' which clocks in at 4:48
The 7' single edit which is 3:35
The 12' remix ("Special Disco Version") which is 8:35. A slightly different mix was used on the 'Dont Stop' single in 2002.
The edit used for 'Rarities' (called the 'Dance Mix') which is 7:33.

There is also the Dr Dre remix which was used for "Austin Powers : Goldmember" in 2002 and is much the same length as the 7' single version.

The full take which has been widely bootlegged clocks in around 11:40.
