CONFUSED rocker Ronnie Wood has pledged undying love . . . to the wife he dumped.
The Stone spilled out his feelings to the Strictly star in a heart-to-heart after she ordered their children to forgive him for his affair.
Then wildman Ron, 62, went straight back to Russian mistress Ekaterina Ivanova, 20, for a booze-up in Ireland.
A source close to the family told us: "Ronnie's been feeling raw. He spoke very emotionally to Jo this week and admitted he still loves her.
"He's just not certain how they move forward.
Ronnie's secret confession will infuriate Kat after a rocky couple of weeks in which the Moscow firecracker even threatened suicide over his continued closeness to Jo, 54.
And as he makes peace with his grown-up children, we can reveal Kat has told him to FORGET all about having kids with her.
On Thursday - as they toured bars in Dublin - she told us: "We are not interested in our own babies. God can you imagine?"
Pals believe his relationship with the ex-cocktail waitress will implode as next year's planned tour with the Stones gets nearer.
Our source said: "We think there'll be a reunion with Jo - but maybe not romantic yet. It's possible he'll ask her to join him on tour. She always travelled with the Stones as a PA and helper. Keith, Mick and Charlie all adore her.
"Ronnie is a total pro with his music - there is no way he'd jeopardise a Stones tour for a girl. Only he knows just how turbulent it is being with Kat.
"He does love being around her, but she's moody. And he worries she'd flare up on the road."
The old rocker would have a lot of hard work ahead of him persuading Jo to go. Two weeks ago she told us: "I still care for him. But would I ever take him back? No."
Ronnie ran off with Kat last July after an alcohol-fuelled sex romp in Ireland.
But the jobless blonde has felt left out since the Stone returned to work on fashion and music projects after months of hanging out at their homes and on exotic holidays.
She had hoped to be the face of his fashion project 'I Feel Like Painting'.
Our source said: "Kat expects Ronnie to open doors for her into showbiz. She wanted to be a TV presenter and do modelling, but this is not something he can sort at a drop of a hat."
Meanwhile in Dublin Kat moaned about the Irish weather - and even the Guinness. "I can't stand the stuff and thank God I don't drink it - I'd be as big as a house," she said. "Champagne is more my thing."
Ronnie later thrilled shoppers by jamming in a shop window with son Jesse as his band The Black Swan Effect did a storefront gig in Dublin's trendy Grafton Street.
Ronnie said: "I love playing with Jesse, and the band are great."
