I've finally gotten round to putting everything (mostly) I own, onto a external hard drive in lossless format, and can now play anything I want from my Mac, right into stereo... Wow... I'm using iTunes to manage all the music...
12,221 songs - 31 days 7 hrs 38 mins, 286.99 gigs of music... I still have about 150 or so discs to rip... phew!
This is so awesome... it is pure magic on shuffle... it's a 500 gig HD, which means it's actually soemwhat less than that... but I'll probably fill that up before I know it...
