I read the definition of" binge drinking" a while ago: it's only two alcoholic units more than the recommended maximum daily allowance for a man (3 -4?) and for a woman (2?). When you start looking at how big and full your dinner wine and beer glasses are and how many units they amount to, you know how much you are really drinking, and for most of the people that I know that's a hell of a lot! Depressing reading.
