Brilliant play calling by Coach Payton.  He owned the 2nd qtr just by not allowing
the Dolts to score.  Onside kick just played with Seyton's head.  He had that deer in
the headlights look from that point on.  Best SB since SB 36!

Spectacular lighting for The Who. Hard for them to do justice to their songs. Might as well have just played a CSI medley.

But no one can tell me that so-called game is "football". How many frigging stops in the game are there? There's no flow. Aussie Rules kills that shit.

And no poofy padding or helmets either.

Was a good game to a point. Not many if any spectacular plays like last years game. So I wouldnt rank it that high as far as great game rankings. sean Payton is banned from my poker game though. Who were great and the light show incredible. Working out doors versus Stones in doors adds more to the pyro capabilities I think.

Maybe if the ball would have been shaped like one of Kendra's fake boobs. Hank Baskett might have been able to hang onto it. Wow!
As far as the celebration goes. Got a call after the game from some friends who live down around Lafayette,LA. It sounded like a combination of Mardi Gras, WWIII and one hell of a Super Bowl party. Their were explosions.I'm told they were fireworks, but I'm willing to bet their were large caliber weapons involved.....and a lot of drunk people. But then again that could just describe anydya around those parts. Congarts to the Saints.

This is a gratuitous crap post so I can surpass 1,000 (somebody start a thread about me).

This was a great win for the NFL.  Something about Manning is just a little creepy, and N'awlins deserved the shot in the arm.

Best Supe since XXXVI?  I keep hearing that.  What was the one where the Tenessee guy was stopped at the goal line in the last second?  Wasn't that more dramatic?

What could be more dramatic than Steelers driving 82 yds with a minute and falf to go and Holmes shoetip catch with 35 seconds to go? Oh and the Harrison 100 yard pick off before the half? What plays in this game even come close?

Let me count the ways.....but this is the biggest

"Greatest Show On Turf" The Rams tied the game with a TD with 1:30
left.  Pats recovered the kick, having no timeouts left on the clock.  Three
plays later, Brady drove 41 yds, with the next play a incomplete pass.
He then made it to the Rams 30 on 3 more plays, where he spiked the ball with 7 seconds left.
Where every person in the country was saying go to overtime, Pats kicked the winning field goal.

So, I'll put seven plays in 1:30 by a team who had no shot of winning vs your 82 yd drive anytime by a team who was favored.  Of course we are both homers, right?

I'm not looking to tangle with anything before that!

Zack, I was only comparing the Steeler game to this years game if you read my post the way I intended it. All time?? there are many great games and our own teams impact will always bias us me included of course. Heck I think maybe Nellcote liked yesterday cause Manning lost and it moves his Pats up the ladder of greatness versus Colts? hmmmmmmm??
