We are deeply saddened to report that some time after 8 p.m. last night East Coast time, Gordon Waller went into cardiac arrest and was taken to the emergency room. Despite intensive efforts on his behalf by hospital personnel, Gordon passed away early this morning. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.
One of the duo's most recent performances was in February at the Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake as part of the "50 Winters Later" concert and related events in tribute to the 1959 Winter Dance Party tour and the deaths of Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and J.P. "the Big Bopper" Richardson.
